Just finished voting...(R)...here is California..

Also lodged a complaint that a van parked, illegally, 20 feet away from the voting site had signs posted in it for all to view.. Also had signs and people in the parking lot removed for being too close the the voting site..

Good luck ~ ~

Not very likely anyone would read this far into the thread but for the record--voted early this a.m, not many other voters so I would say a low turn-out for my ultra-liberal Chicago Lakefront district. Not at all like the 2 Clinton elections when dumb females were lined up out the door and onto the sidewalk.

Oh yeah? There are plenty of people reading this thread.

Maybe that light at the end of the tunnel isn't an oncoming train afterall !

The light is a groundswell of angry GOP voters taking back the Senate and increasing their numbers in the House. President Bush has asked and GOP voters are honoring his request! GO GOP!!!!

As far as I know, Clay Shaw IS running against Carol RAT Roberts! Something you might want to rectify if true, PJ.

I had a big confrontation about that this morning. According to a map I saw, I was positive that Clay Shaw is our congressman. But he wasn't on the touch-screen ballot. So when I inquired they told me it was an unchallenged congressman. I am in Precinct 18-D in Broward so if anybody knows different, let me know.

Mafree, I am pinging phikapmom regarding the lax system in you are referring to. There are other states with the same problem regarding no I.D. requirement.

The illegals in Florida will be upset when they have no photo id to produce and are turned away, hopefully.

"Voted straight GOP except for one Dem -- Denise Lundin, our clerk of the superior court. Does a good job and is nice to look at. Every government needs one resident babe."

OK, JB, as long as she's just the superior court clerk! :)
"Resident babe" definitely rules out Napolitano. LOL

Voted for Joe Marine over Jay Inslee
Voted for Jim Johnson for Justice

Voted No on all the Ballot Measures designed to raise our taxes and steal our freedom.

VOTED!! Richmond, Texas, where Tom DeLay is our Rep. Hope he becomes the Majority Leader!

Only people I saw standing outside handing out pamphlet were those for the Democrat opponents...one walked up to me to see if I wanted literature...I asked if the candidate was Republican...girl looked crestfallen as she replied "Democrat"...I said a very brusque NOPE...and walked on...

I have no regard whatseover for the Democrat AKA Socialist Party...or those that think they are right in supporting it.

I went to the polling place twice this morning to look things over. There were (4) lines divided up alphabetically. Some of the lines had 20-30 people. It was like this both times I went before I voted.

I had to admonish the Poll Manager for not posting a sample ballot. He did after I brought it up.

A demokrat poll watcher came in for a few minuutes, but left. Nothing to see.

Maryland: I voted for Ehrlich and then voted straight Republican down the ticket. The Demonrats have too much power in this state. I also voted against every ballot initiative.

Hopefully my vote will still count after they finish counting votes from dogs, cats and dead people in Baltimore City.

I really hope Ehrlish wins and our state can be rid of the Kennedy scum that his been growing here.
