A freind of mine had a very simular experience. He is a private guy and kept his phone number unavailable. The FBI said that they wanted help with an investigation. He brought a tape recorder to the meeting. They asked him to turn it off. He complied.

I will leave out some details in order to protect his privacy, but he was very unhappy, and said he willl never cooperate with the FBI again. I believe it is always in your interest to tape conversations with the police. The fact that the FBI was nervous about being on camera shows that they were up to no good.

I hope his income taxes for the last several years were up to snuff.

Why didn't you trust us?

All things considered, such as Ruby Ridge, Waco, and the wholesale giving of sensitive raw data files to a pair of political hacks in the Clinton White House, why should he trust them?

Gee!  All of this time I thought that gun registration information was destroyed shortly after approval for purchase.  Isn't that what they told us?

You are an absolute fool if you comply with ANY attempts to register firearms purchased before the confiscation ploy was placed in force.  Furthermore, you are a fool if you purchase any gun anywhere other than a gun show or by private means that are exempt from registration.

Here in Texas you must show your driver's license to purchase ammo.  Of course, your driver's license is directly connected to your social security number and guess what?   The government circumvented the gun registration process because they know:

We have already given up our liberty and freedoms simply because women and timid males would gladly throw away rights granted by the Constitution and subsequent amendments in exchange for pseudo security granted by "Big Brother."

I notice that you have 4 asterisks. Don't you realize that there are only 3 letters in the word "hit"?

I agree. Guess who's going to get a visit from The IRS next year. A nice long painful audit for his troubles...

Yes! And guts is all there is between his ears.

This isn't the way help desperate local, state, and federal authorities trying to locate a madmen on a terrifying killing spree that had the Washington DC area all but shut down....

The guy and his hand-holding attorney are geeky, self serving, self important morons.

One of the definitions of tyranny is when someone is afraid of their government.

>> "Can you do me a favor?" the agent asked. "Can you take the apparatus off that you have on? I'd like to speak to you privately."<<

F*** those bastards. They can murder or whatever they want, and in their minds, they are above the law. These are the same type of bastards we ran off with rifles after 1776.

He told me he was wondering when the "no-knock" raid would come, if I remember correctly. I suggested he take his gun to bed with him...
