Many Yemenis may not like that the U.S. battle has hit home so violently If you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas.

OOOHHHH yay you go gettem. That's what I call reaching out and touching someone. Up close and personal. Perfect, perfect. Man just what I needed to get my morning started off with great news.

Now they just need to apply the same "policy" to Yassir Arafat...then Crown Prince Abdullah...then Hosni Mubarak...then that Assad fellow in Syria and oops, don't forget Saddam... Time to start the ball rolling and get this show on the road already!

I caught a glimpse at the point of impact on FoxNews this morning. Just a big black spot on the ground with some tire treads and melted metal in a small pool.
I know they moved the car, but what's left (or not left) is pretty dramatic. The Yemenis on the scene were just pointing at it, wide-eyed and jabbering unintelligibly. It struck me as very powerful stuff if employed as propaganda.
Nothing but fused sand and melted metal... wow... Gotta love those Hellfire-equipped Predators!

Second, it opens up a whole new era of killing rather than capturing suspects, as Bush had vowed to do immediately after Sept. 11, 2001.Bush now correctly understands that 9-11 was caused not so much by Islam's HATRED of the west but by LACK OF RESPECT. There is a tremendous upside to this action, IMHO.

Message to United Nations: "We don't need your support in the War against Terrorism!"

The United States also is still seething over the deadly ambush of the USS Cole in the Yemeni port of Aden two years ago, in which 17 sailors died, and being able to nail the local masterminds behind that attack would only add another feather to President Bushs cap. Thank you Mr. President for some payback!!

The Bush administration just stepped up its war against terror to a new level - delivering a huge and deadly in-your-face diss to Osama bin Laden. How do you "diss" someone who's been dead for almost a year?

Second, it opens up a whole new era of killing rather than capturing suspectsI really welcome this development. IMHO, there are far too many of these vermin still drawing breath (and munching on Fruit Loops) presently in our custody, but it would appear that valuable intelligence has been obtained as a result. But once all the "pieces" are in place, decisive action is demanded, and that was what occurred in this case. Keep just enough of the murder-breathing cockroaches alive so that the remainder of their ilk may be exterminated. Bravo!

Bush never vowed to CAPTURE anyone. Remember, he said WANTED, DEAD or ALIVE!

Yumpin' Yemeni!
Sorry. I just have an uncontrolable urge to say that whenever I see or hear the word "Yemeni."

Seeing the video on TV shot from the predator aircraft was just a total rush........I believe alot more of this type of thing is going on than has been made public, the question I am trying to answer for myself is, why was this particular victory made public, and why now? It likely has a specific purpose to send a particular message, but I can only guess. Here is a good spy novel scenario: we are talking with some one in the Iraqi military we want to groom to be saddaams friendly to us successor after we surgically remove saddaam and annihilate the imperial guard. He whines that hey, I would help but there is no way you could ever take him out even with your technology. Oh yeah? watch this.
