According to this poll, many of the same people that plan to vote for Huckabee, also plan to vote for Pryor. Could this be because of Hutchinson's leaving his wife of 29 yrs for a staffer? If he was a Dem, his constituency would be all the more fired up to re-elect him.

For NJ to be called the Dems (in the last 3 elections at least), Lause would have to be 10-12% over and have a popularity over 60%. I think this race is a lot closer than Zogby thinks.

"FOX -- Secret FBI poll watchers trained. They will blend in and watch for vote fraud!"

That's sure my hope. ANYONE pulling vote fraud should be hung by the b*lls.

Give me a break! Bush's approval must be close to 80% in Texas. No way they slap him in the face. This would be breathtakingly horrible.

I hope embarassed apathy keeps the moderate Dumos home, and fires up the Republicans.

You must be mistaken. Didn't you see the debate? Mondale is an independant! </sarcasm>

But seriously, in addition to the funerally showing part lockstep, Ventura's appointment of the Independant candidate during the debate while Mondale was claiming to be independant nullified Mondale's claims.

Kirk is doing well for a couple of reasons.

1) He is black, and a Democrat, so he has a large base locked up

2) He is trying to fool people into believing that he is a Republican. This won't scare away his base, and it helps him with the old Dixiecrats.

Look across the country and almosty every Democrat who is running in competative races are trying to run as far to the right as is possible, trying to claim to be on Bush's side. And people are dumb enough to believe them

Look at Pryon, and Sanders, Both running far to the rigth of New England Republicans (like Mitt Romney). Sanders tried so hard to prove to be conservative that he called Giuliani a gay liberal.

Look at Max Cleland, who is blatantly lying about his record, and his beliefs in an attempt to convince Georgians that he is a conservative.

I believe the vast majority of Americans are moderates in their politics. When the criminal enterprise party of clinton bared their butts to have a blatant rally over Paul Wellstone's death, Minnesotans awoke to the horror that their man Paul was not a clintonista and clinton is still running that party. That won't bode well for the old sour puss, Mondale. [It's sad that he grew old and crotchety, while Jimmy grew old and graceful, but Fritz secretly wanted the lead anyway and has lusted for power ever since. Did you know he was polling Minnesota two years ago, to see if he could align himself to Minnesotans in order to unseat Paul? How can any supporter of Paul Wellstone shift honestly to vote for the sour grapes candidate? I would guess that many of Paul's supporters should be voting Green, to send a real message to the democrat despots. It will elect Coleman, but it will wake up the arrogant buzzards at the DNC.]
