Allard VOTE Bump!
To: Taxman
I did my part to stop the evil spread of liberalism at 6:30 am local time this morning in Indiana.
That sentence is gramatically horrible but gets the message across.

I voted. Number 103 in my rural county, 45 minutes into the polling day.
Looks like a good Republican turnout up here!

Reporting in: Have voted and also signed up to work the polls in 2004.

I'll vote after a cup of coffee. I live across the street from a polling place for three precints here in Grand Rapids, MI. The church's parking lot was full this morning at 7 when I looked outside and it still has a parking lot that is 2/3 full.
I am more than a little concerned for Posthumos the Govenor candidate and a local State Rep candidate Bill Hardiman.

Voted at 7:05 Am....wrote in Ollie North for Senate over that RINO John Warner!
To: GodBlessRonaldReagan
Don't waste precious votes!!
Olie will have an easier time challenging a RINO with a full republican senate! We must give Bush the senate first!
WE MUST VOTE
WE MUST VOTE
To: longtermmemmory
I didn't waste my vote...Warner is unopposed by a Dem, only a LaRoushe and Libertarian candidate, niether who has a snowball's prayer. I thought this could send ol' Jahn a message to start acting more like a Republican.

Voted at "dawn" (actually just after polls opened at 7:00amEST). Two others will be voting later on a straight 'pub ticket. That's all the eligible voters in the house...

The St Louis courts opted to let city employees staff the polls. Carnahan in a landslide with Rixie the dog's vote.
Also miraculous things are happening at the cemetaries.

Hubby voted by absentee a few weeks ago, Republican all the way down the ticket, and as soon as I finish my coffee I'm going to bundle up and head to the polls, I'm voting all Republican too:)
GO NORM!!!!!!

This morning I voted in DuPage County, Naperville, IL. Their ballots were short and sweet. Unfortunately, there was no option to vote a straight ticket, GOP or other.
Our ballot is with a black marker and blacken the ovals. Not much chance to botch that one up. Then you just run it through the reader yourself. No touch-screens or punch ballots.

Just voted in Indy-North East, Hamiliton County. The weather is a fine, cold rain, the day dark, the polling place steady but no lines, the voting-very easy. Great machines, nice people. My only complaint-thought the circuit ct judges were identified by party affiliation, the three supreme court judges, running for re-election, were the only names on the ballots that did not have party affiliation under um. You would have had to memorize, I guess, the voter guide published in the newspaper awhile back in order to know whether you were voting for an activist judge or a constitutionalist judge.
Pushing a straight republican ticket at the top-did not include the three supreme ct judges-you had to remember their write-ups in order to know which to keep, which to vote out.
I did not vote for any of the three because I did not want to cancel out anyone voting who knew the affiliations of these three. And since I live in a heavily conservative area-I hope that was the right decision. My decision would have been guesswork.

I couldn't wait to vote this morning. In fact, I thought about changing my registration to Dem so I could vote more than once.
