ZOGBY's FINAL NUMBERS- released to subscribers tonight 9:45 to Midnight
Zogby

Posted on 11/04/2002 6:18:19 PM PST by VAGOP

ZOGBY's final numbers (which include polling from tonight) will be made available to subscriber's only between 9:45 PM and Midnight. I am a subscriber and will update my fellow freepers ASAP after getting the latest numbers. I have listened to Zogby a lot today and he seems to be indicating a swing back to the Republicans after suprisingly poor republican numbers this weekend. One note, Zogby does internal polling for Sunnunu and will not release these numbers unless Sunnunu is up beyond the margin of error- something to look for. I was pessimistic this weekend but now believe- Repubs +1 if we hold Colorado.

Sounds a tad optimistic to me, but I'll take it!

I was afraid that was the answer. They HAVE to be repudiated.

Zb is full of cr@p. Just VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and take people with you - buy them breakfast, lunch - love on them and then ask them to do your grandchildren a huge favor and pull the lever, punch the ballot or push the button for a Republican.

Did anyone just hear Ventura's pick for the Senate on Chris Matthews? It sounded like he was going to caucus with the Republicans so as to get the votes on the Judges.

I still remember 2000 and how we all we so sure it was a cake walk for President Bush and it turned into a fiasco before he finally won.

This is what scares me. While I can envision a 52 or 53 GOP Senate (pickups in SD, MN, MO, GA), I can just as easily see Dems saving those seats and winning in CO, NH, NC and TX. It could really go either way, and it will all come down to turnout and what people really think as opposed to what they are telling the pollsters.

I was sure that Bush would win over 300 electoral votes in 2000 - and I expected fraud.

I'm sure, however, that the GOP will lose Arkansas.

Clinton is campaigning for govenorships to position the Democrats to dominate the states in the 2004 elections

Having incumbent GOP governors in Michigan and Pennsylvania didn't do much for Dubya in 2000 (and it didn't help much in Florida). I think having a governor in place for a Prez election is nice, but it's not vital by any means.

People, in general, genuinely fear the lack of leadership for America from the democr@ps and SEE leadership from the President.

Yes, you are right, it didn't help Bush, but that's because the Republicans don't use voter fraud and manipulated election laws. Who's to say what mischief the Demonrats could accomplish with all those Democrat govenorships.

Just curious, but WHEN Talent beats Carnahan..can't he take over the seat immediately?

According to Missouri state law he can take his office as soon as his election is certified. That should probably take a week or two.

IMO the fraudulent antics of the Dems abusing the provisional voting procedures will delay certification much longer than that. ANY 'voter' (registered, resident, legal, or not) will be allowed to vote on a provisional ballot until their legality is researched, which means regardless of whether they are registered or voting in the proper location, time will have to be taklen to disallow their vote. I belkieve that this process will be abused to (a) swamp polls with unqualified voters to delay closing of the polls, and (b) extend the certification date to where a Talent win becomes moot in the face of holiday recesses in late November and December. Only a HUGE Republican turnout that outweighs the fraudulent provisional votes can defeat this scenario.

Actually, HARDBALL is live.

You can tell by the little red "LIVE" in the right hand corner of the screen.

It is when you're trying to institute fraud. If Jeb is not Gov of FL, Katherine Harris is not SoS, and Algore is President.

Thats why I'm curious to see what Zogby has to say on his last poll, because his last one in 2000 was close. I thought he was going to be wrong, but we all know what transpired.

I'd be more worried about Dems in county clerk, Secretary of State, and state Supreme Courts than in the governor's office. The former have far more ability to countenance fraud and manipulate election laws than do governors. You notice Jeb really was in no position to do much of anything for Dubya even if he hadn't recused himself.

If Jeb is not Gov of FL, Katherine Harris is not SoS

Harris was elected separately from Jeb, she was not appointed. That is the case with the vast majority of state SoS.
