ZOGBY's FINAL NUMBERS- released to subscribers tonight 9:45 to Midnight

ZOGBY's final numbers (which include polling from tonight) will be made available to subscriber's only between 9:45 PM and Midnight. I am a subscriber and will update my fellow freepers ASAP after getting the latest numbers. I have listened to Zogby a lot today and he seems to be indicating a swing back to the Republicans after suprisingly poor republican numbers this weekend. One note, Zogby does internal polling for Sunnunu and will not release these numbers unless Sunnunu is up beyond the margin of error- something to look for. I was pessimistic this weekend but now believe- Repubs +1 if we hold Colorado.

BTW if Sununnu and Forrester win early tomorrow, the rout will be on. Add Chambliss over Cleland to that mix, too.
Also, due to the time difference it may have a positive effect on the governor's race in Califonia. Big Republican wins in the East might motivate Republican voters to go to the polls and encourage DemocRATS to stay home.

This is one Libertarian who is voting for Republican until the day when the two major parties are Republican and Libertarian.Ah! A thoughtful and wise libertarian. Were that there were more such as yourself!

Lots of clear fluids...and not the grain alcohol...or is that what ails you? >8-)I was thinking that Sunday after we all went out, but it's a cold I have. I stayed home today, which allowed me to watch the debate today. So the day wasn't wasted too bad.
Just to keep this on topic, I think the Bush factor will help out with a couple of these races.

RCP's final predictions
Monday, November 4 2002
EARLY ELECTION EVE THOUGHTS: The Democrats are desperately pursuing this "Baltimore leaflet" story on all the cable channels which supposedly shows how the mean old white Republicans are back at it trying to keep black people from voting. I know this is part of the Democratic Party modus operandi, but this smacks to me as a bit of desperation on the Democratic side. The late polls, on balance, are showing movement towards the GOP, and we suspect this late tactic by the Democrats will be a little too late to make any difference.
We see the GOP winning Senate races in Minnesota, South Dakota, Colorado, Missouri and Georgia. We think Shaheen will eke out a win in New Hampshire, though if there is any big tail wind for the GOP that will be enough to give Sununu a win. Pryor will win in Arkansas. Dole is liable to hold on in North Carolina, though she is doing her best to lose an easy Republican seat. So, there it is: Republicans pickup two seats and take back the Senate. In the House, the Dems have given up, and the GOP should pick up 8 seats. Which after Gephardt boasted two months ago that the Dems might pick up 30-40 seats, that would be a HUGE win in a mid-term election. The Democrats will do well in the Governor's races, though Bush (FL) and Erhlich (MD) will win in close contests

This totally contradicts what he said on Laura Ingraham......hmmm.

I thought so... they sure sounded kinda familiar... Thanks...

Did you see how many governors Clinton campaigned for? Something is "up" with that. The DLC thing?

Zogby playing to show audience. Ingrahams show Rep paints bright picture for us. On Mathews show paints nice picture for Dems. Bottom line, hedging his bets so he can say thats what he called.Astute observation, hitherto I'll refer to you as Wonderdog.

Zogby's numbers are by far the most favorable towards Dems . . .That's because he cooks his numbers with his own "special sauce." And what is his special sauce? I believe it is the allowance he gives for Democrat voter fraud.

I hope you are correct. I think we hear each other so much that we don't see the entire forest at times. I still remember 2000 and how we all we so sure it was a cake walk for President Bush and it turned into a fiasco before he finally won. I think this time it can be just as close in some of these races. They are localized and I'm not so sure they are nationalized even with President Bush's campaigning.

We think we have the young adult male vote (well, the adult male vote) locked up.

But I would say he didn't sound nearly as favorable to the republicans as he did earlier- who knows what this means. Earlier he was essentially saying Coleman had all momentum, now he says Mondale will hold on. presumably his new Minnesota numbers faovr Mondale- I'll post once I get the numbers.

Chris Matthews was recorded earlier this aftrenoon. Zogby obviously looked at his number for today before he went on Laura Ingram's show. Those numbers are likely the more current numbers.

Just curious, but WHEN Talent beats Carnahan..can't he take over the seat immediately? According to Missouri state law he can take his office as soon as his election is certified. That should probably take a week or two.
To: Howlin
Clinton is campaigning for govenorships to position the Democrats to dominate the states in the 2004 elections. That's what this whole election is about, 2004.

Oh, I don't trust the ME islamotrash loving, Republican hating, democr@p any more than I do Dick Morris...people are sick and tired of being told that Republicans get off on making people's lives tougher...the reality is, what have the democr@ps done for blacks?
What have they done for the middle class?
What have they done to protect our children and America's future?
Slowly but surely, the tide from communist thinking is starting to take root. This time, when the 'good guys' retake the Senate, run the House and lead from the WH...we need to LEAD!
NO TRENT LOTT or anyone of his ILK running the Senate. A true, ba**s-bearing leader.
