Just curious, but WHEN Talent beats Carnahan..can't he take over the seat immediately?

According to Missouri state law he can take his office as soon as his election is certified. That should probably take a week or two.

IMO the fraudulent antics of the Dems abusing the provisional voting procedures will delay certification much longer than that. ANY 'voter' (registered, resident, legal, or not) will be allowed to vote on a provisional ballot until their legality is researched, which means regardless of whether they are registered or voting in the proper location, time will have to be taklen to disallow their vote. I belkieve that this process will be abused to (a) swamp polls with unqualified voters to delay closing of the polls, and (b) extend the certification date to where a Talent win becomes moot in the face of holiday recesses in late November and December. Only a HUGE Republican turnout that outweighs the fraudulent provisional votes can defeat this scenario.
