So I'm working at home today, listening to the campaign related messages roll into my phone, and the following one comes in:

Hello, I'm Jack Brandenberg...

Crap! this guy again. Last week I was getting at least two a day from this guy. But hold on! Turns out the opposition (the conniving DemocRATS) was making all the calls, specifically to annoy people into voting against Brandenberg.

And the thing is, it worked! On me anyhow. I was going to vote against him.

I'm still extremely P.O.'ed at the RINO's of Michigan jacking the cigarette tax to the 3rd highest in the nation. There is NO WAY Engler's hand-picked cronies will get my vote. I AM happy that I will finally be represented by someone other than David Boner (or Bonior, whatever), and am hoping the national seats go the Republican's way.

And now I guess I'll have to punch the slot for Brandenberg. Crimony! There goes the phone again.... This time it's a judge.

I doubt anyone's mind was changed on either side - they seldom are on flame-bait vanities like that which drive potential allies apart instead of developing common ground. Bredenson's campaign, here in East Tennessee, tried to make a lukewarm Van Hilleary call, right at suppertime, and loaded with double meanings. I'm sorry I didn't get that one on tape! But they failed with me ... I'd already voted early.

Welcome to FR slim - In Kansas City someone has been calling the retired absentee voters and telling them their absentee ballots will not be counted and they need to vote again at the polls. Note these people are the most likely to have fallen for the dems scare tactics on social security. I don't think they will able to vote again but sure sounds like a dirty democrat trick to me... Vote the bastards out today.

I was working here in Jackson County, MO on the phone bank and nearly every person I called the last half hour on Sunday night said they qwere peeved about all the phone calls in the last "ten minutes." I suggested that the caller list was hacked, ie computer based phone call tracking. Of course, the dims will do anything to win!

Was just at Rep HQ in Kansas City, MO. At least three poll watchers in inner city have reported that at their precincts the poll workers were not requiring ID's. This is against the law in Missouri! Call 911!
