The Latest Democrat Dirty Trick
My phone

So I'm working at home today, listening to the campaign related messages roll into my phone, and the following one comes in:

 Hello, I'm Jack Brandenberg...

Crap! this guy again. Last week I was getting at least two a day from this guy. But hold on! Turns out the opposition (the conniving DemocRATS) was making all the calls, specifically to annoy people into voting against Brandenberg.

And the thing is, it worked! On me anyhow. I was going to vote against him.

I'm still extremely P.O.'ed at the RINO's of Michigan jacking the cigarette tax to the 3rd highest in the nation. There is NO WAY Engler's hand-picked cronies will get my vote. I AM happy that I will finally be represented by someone other than David Boner (or Bonior, whatever), and am hoping the national seats go the Republican's way.

And now I guess I'll have to punch the slot for Brandenberg. Crimony! There goes the phone again.... This time it's a judge.

LOL! I've received calls from our Gov'nr and Attorney General (Ohio)!
Unfortunately, they don't allow any "comments" to be left at the end of their recordings.
And, for what it's worth, the caller ID said "Cell Phone MA" as in Massachusetts cripe at least they could have employed someone from inside our state to call....since they "care" so much about "unemployment" and replacing the "smokestack" industries (you know, the jobs that once paid a living wage...)

Sorry, I though documenting DemoCRAT dirty tricks was something to be interested in. I didn't mean to run afoul with your self-appointed highness.

We have quite a few students on my campus talking about being paid to do a "knock and drag." I'm not sure what that means, but that's what is happening and it is for the Democrats.

Can you post the hyperlink to your answering machine please. ;-)

Hey, I know Jack Brandenburgh. He's a great guy!

I've been tempted to record a message of my own and mass-dial the various campaign headquarters.

It's what the Dems use to boost turnout. Pretty much, they go door-to-door and get people to go out and vote straight Dem.
It's pretty effective, IMHO.

He'll get my vote. It was good strategy to do the phone call today about the past phone calls. There was one day that I got 4.

Three threads from the year 2000...back in the dark ages when Sinkmaster was still president.
 Sheesh. Got anything more recent?
To: hchutch; St. Clair Slim
    That's correct. No mercy.
No mercy.
Coming soon: Tha SYNDICATE.

Democrats have a simple phrase that sums up their voter-turnout effort: "knock and drag." A crew of paid workers storms through predominantly black neighborhoods and coaxes, cajoles, or browbeats every registered voter to the polls. It's a form of political activity that was well-known in the big-city, white-ethnic machines of the past but has only recently emerged as a key to black turnout.

Let's not put all the blame in one corner. Yesterday, when I was trying to recuperate from a cold, I got at least seven phone calls - all from Republicans, all pre-recorded and automatically dialed (including taped messages from W and Laura).

Well, the line-up is now complete! George W. himself just called. He even sounds good on phone messages (seriously).

Illbay, you lecturing folks about vanity posts is like Hillary delivering an ABA lecture about the need for truthful depositions. At least this vanity provides some information. Yours from a couple of weeks ago was just a flame-bait post.

He does sound good. I've had two from W. and one from Rudy (For Bill Simon). I ought to hang up immediately since I'd rather they max out on who they can call, but I listened. (I hope the kids are not in the room when a RAT calls)
