Well it certainly won't hurt. Shining the light on ne'er-do-wells usually sends 'em scrambling. I think it worked this election cycle. The talk alone about poll watchers all around the country probably worked wonders. The effectiveness was in deterrence rather than actual gotcha! We've seen from STR and another Freeper poll watcher in Houston, that poll workers in the cesspools were not particularly discouraged from doing their mischief; likely because it has become ingrained in the system.
As far as getting organized, well, that's a horse of a different color. I think the best we can hope for is that the poll watcher program that's in place be fine tuned to allow for better and faster feedback to the proper authorities. Educating local LE about their duties and responsibilities regarding the integrity of the election process is a must IMO. Get the word out amongst conservatives that watching the polls especially in the cesspools is something that is desperately needed to safeguard our republic.
Build it and they will come???

Lemme study on it some. I'm going to check in with the Texas GOP site or possibly individuals to get some ideas regarding how best to encourage poll watching by cats ; )

In Helena, Arkansas a man was arrested by the FBI for casting 100 absentee ballots in the primary election this year.

Gray pleads guilty to vote fraud
By JAMES JEFFERSON
Associated Press Writer
LITTLE ROCK - The city of Helena's sanitation director pleaded guilty Thursday to federal charges that he voted on more than two dozen absentee ballots in the May primary.
U.S. Attorney Bud Cummins said Larry Gray, 36, actually voted on nearly 100 ballots in the names of registered voters without their knowledge or consent. Gray made a plea bargain with prosecutors.
Cummins noted a long history of voting irregularities in Phillips County and said he hoped Gray's guilty plea would help clear up the problem.
"Maybe this will send a message that we are seriously investigaing voter fraud and that it's time for this to come to an end," Cummins said.
The charges are felonies punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine each, though federal sentencing guidelines often require lesser penalties.
Cummins said FBI agents interviewed many people who said they never recieved their absentee ballots.
Federal investigators are looking into other allegations of voter fraud in the state, Cummins said, including other persons who may have been involved with Gray. He would not say if his office is investigating allegations outside Phillips County.
Gray initially was arrested in September. Prosecutors said then that he had used a gun to threaten at least one witness in the vote fraud investigation. Charges stemming from that incident were dropped.
The following happened in Lake Village, AR - Still searching for the story/confirmation.
Election officials have thrown out the ballots of 25 voters who just happened to be dead.
More later.
That's rich, and yet another indicator of how desperate the Dims are. Praying to God they and their house of cards receives their just rewards! It distresses me to no end the major media types will not allow this stuff to see the light of day. Damn 'em! May those that just happened to be dead forever RIP ; )

Colmes, facts?
BWAHAHAHAHA! SROTFLMAO! Thanks nicmarlu, I needed a good laugh this morning! =o)
Pryor, a dyed-in-the-wool democRAT do "the honorable thing?" Surley you jest! You and nicmarlo have really hit my funnybone today!
And just based on what I saw in my limited experience poll watching and doing absentee ballots, I don't think it is a stretch at all to think that they managed to steal enough votes to swing the election in their favor.
I am convinced this has happened in many elections, and certainly not limited to Arkansas.
This is exactly why we have to get organized NOW!
I was speaking to STR this morning and she has some excellent ideas. Some she got from this thread and expanded upon (which she only now has read in its entirety).
I'm thinking several of us should get together with STR soon and, with the FReepers here, develope some plans.
Great, and don't forget to lead me to a direction if you need me to help researching.....
Will do. Gotta run for a while; will check in later today...

As I have stated many times in this thread, we need to get started now.
What we need is someone who has an inside contact to Sean Hannity, Rush, Ken Hamblin, Drudge and a few others who speak the truth, to contact these people as this is happening.
It may be too late for this election, but by golly, it isn't for the 2004 election!
Good work, SwatTeam. While we're trying to get organized here in Arkansas, FReepers in every state should do the same. The dems have had a free reign on cheating for far too long.
Sounds like their cleanin' up the Sanitation Department!
LOL!
