It should be done.

Lemme study on it some. I'm going to check in with the Texas GOP site or possibly individuals to get some ideas regarding how best to encourage poll watching by cats ; )

I have a few stories I am compelled to relate regarding Arkansas voter fraud. I will post the actual articles that I could find so far.

In Helena, Arkansas a man was arrested by the FBI for casting 100 absentee ballots in the primary election this year.

From Helena, AR Daily World - 10/24/02

Gray pleads guilty to vote fraud
By JAMES JEFFERSON
Associated Press Writer

LITTLE ROCK - The city of Helena's sanitation director pleaded guilty Thursday to federal charges that he voted on more than two dozen absentee ballots in the May primary.

U.S. Attorney Bud Cummins said Larry Gray, 36, actually voted on nearly 100 ballots in the names of registered voters without their knowledge or consent. Gray made a plea bargain with prosecutors.

Cummins noted a long history of voting irregularities in Phillips County and said he hoped Gray's guilty plea would help clear up the problem.

"Maybe this will send a message that we are seriously investigaing voter fraud and that it's time for this to come to an end," Cummins said.

The charges are felonies punishable by up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine each, though federal sentencing guidelines often require lesser penalties.

Cummins said FBI agents interviewed many people who said they never recieved their absentee ballots.

Federal investigators are looking into other allegations of voter fraud in the state, Cummins said, including other persons who may have been involved with Gray. He would not say if his office is investigating allegations outside Phillips County.

Gray initially was arrested in September. Prosecutors said then that he had used a gun to threaten at least one witness in the vote fraud investigation. Charges stemming from that incident were dropped.

The following happened in Lake Village, AR - Still searching for the story/confirmation.

Election officials have thrown out the ballots of 25 voters who just happened to be dead.

More later.
