May I introduce the NEW face of the South! Georgia has it's first Republican governor in 130 years and Max Clellan is gone. South Carolina has elected Senator Mark Sanford to the Governorship and Lindsey Graham to the Senate. More tomorrow.

I crashed last night and didn't see this until I got on FR. While it didn't help Tim Hutchinson, I think the ASC's rulling did help Gov. Mike Huckabee. Pryor is going to be bad for Arkansas.

As far as the other races here I was most dissapointed with Ross (D) beating Dickey (R) by so much. Ross has done nothing but take credit for Dicky's accomplishments, so far. Maybe that is a good thing, except he votes against anything Republican in the House. The two Republican losses here are a bitter pill to swallow.

All in all, I'm celebrating the overall Republican gains in the House and of course, the re-taking of the Senate.

Britt Hume announced that a few minutes ago. Since Prior is supposedly winning, does this mean they are trying to steal the governorship or is the Senate race not as close as we've been led to believe.

She will hopefully be coming up to the meeting with y'all and sharing her "experiences" in more detail. Got a FReepmail from Mountainfolk this morning. She was a poll watcher too. The people of Arkansas may have lost yesterday, but it isn't for lack of dedication and hard work on the part of conservatives here, but American still won....

Oh they were in total meltdown at the DU last night! It was funny! I spent the evening in the Radio FR chatroom. We had a great time.

Fox just announced that the Vermont governor's race has been called for the Republican.

The thing is, now the GOP has got to quit diddling around and bust some a$$ in the next two years, or we are gonna lose bigtime in '04...

I just want to say how relieved I am that the election is over and how thrilled I am that we have won the senate. Now maybe we can get some good legislation passed and get some quality conservative judges which we so desperately need . I appreciate ALL of you making this a wonderful thread. FReepers in Arkansas worked VERY hard for our conservative candidates, getting out in record numbers and working the polls and campaigning. We are getting bashed left and right by a lot of FReepers and I wish some of you would defend us. This state is so deep in corruption that it might take awhile to pull it out, but in spite of the loss our state suffered last night, I am very encouraged to see Republicans standing up to the rabid, cheating Rats. They didn't like it one bit, but I think ar least they see now that we're not just going to roll over and take it any more. We have a very large contingent of black sheeple Rats and illegal aliens here in addition to the corrupt power brokers, so we are fighting overwhelming odds. Cut us some slack!

While we did suffer a painful loss here last night due to a whole lot of factors, still, America won big and it's about time! Thank ALL of you for making this election a success. I know y'all have worked very hard. FREEPERS ARE THE BEST!!!!!
