Can You Believe This

-----Original Message----- From: Jordan at GayAmerica Sent: Thursday, October 30, 2002 2:19 PM To: Hillary Cc: Steve; Bruce Subject: FW: Gay Rights or the Republicans you decide!

President Bush and a Republican House of Representatives are all that stand in the way of gay marriage becoming legal in America, the legal lowering of the age of sexual consent, and the final elimination of "sodomy" laws in all fifty states.

If you don't get out and vote DEMOCRATIC, we as gay Americans will lose our influence to push through gay marriage in the Senate and the right for even gay teens to have sex whenever and with whomever they want. If you vote, Democrats could gain control of the House! Imagine Barney Frank as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. It would be a far cry from the days of Henry Hyde. They'll be no stopping us!

Right now, Jim Jeffords (Thank goodness for Vermont!), Tom Daschle, and our Democratic friends in the Senate are all that is stopping President Bush from getting his judicial nominees on the bench. Bush-appointed judges are the last thing sexually diverse people want.

Whether you are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered, or just sympathetic towards our rights, please get out and vote Democratic this November 5th!

Whether the Democratic Senate candidate is gay-friendly or not, you need to vote for that Democrat. When push comes to shove, new Senate and House members follow the leadership, and the Democratic leadership are ALWAYS in our corner!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if openly gay married couples lived on every block and in every apartment building in America!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if your child had an openly gay teacher!

Wouldn't be wonderful if every word that attacks our rights was a crime!

It'll never happen unless you get out and vote Democratic November 5th!

Please forward this to every Democrat you know!

I received this too. I'm pretty sure it's a hoax.

The "to" line says Hillary and the "cc" line is Steve and Bruce...Bruce! Come on, that's a little too cliche.

Good effort though, who ever started it. Certainly the thought process is probably accurate.

That will be a great campaign flyer for the bible belt states...

a vote for pyror = a vote for open gay marriages in arkansas

a vote for bowles = a vote for gay couples in every citi block and apartments in your neighbourhoods (why does it matters anyway, no one ever ask about my sexual preferences when i rent an apartment)

a vote for Cleland = a vote for Dasshole and his gay marriage special interests for America

.....

Frankly, this "email" looks like a very cleverly crafted hoax email, designed to scare conservatives and Republicans into voting.

There are phrases and sentence construction that gay activists/"progessives" would never use.

However, what is really scary, is the fact that while much of this hoax uses phrases and sentiments that conservatives find both shocking and repulsive, the facts remain that this "email" acurately decribes the true intentions and hopes of gay activists. Wanton, profligate sex with whomever they wish. 24/7. Gawd! What a world!

Do you get an investment offer every day from another widow of another ex-leader of another african country every day? I always want to right them back and tell them, "I'd love the billions of dollars you're offering me, but I just have too darn much money already, as Janet Olijawan of Nigeria and Mbotu Banana of Uganda have already maxed out my bank accounts."

who knew there was so much money in various lock-boxes in Africa?

I'm convinced Daschle is a homo. For one thing, you can tell which congressmen are homos and which ones are conventional scoundrels by whether they have male or female interns with them.

If this is what you say, a hoax, which I think it is, too, I seriously object to conservatives trying to fool people into thinking it's real and basically hoodwinking them into voting by playing on their fears.

I don't like this kind of politics. There are plenty of reasons not to vote Democrat without having to make stuff up. There are plenty of real articles in real gay magazines that could have been used, if that was the intention of whoever started this e-mail.

As it is, however, I think it's low-down and trashy to make up an e-mail and pass it off as something genuine, just in order to dupe and scare people. I don't like it any more coming from the right as coming from the left.

Interesting! I got the same one, as well as ( I guess ) pornographic email in Spanish! I assumed it was spam, and contacted the ISP's in the chain that transmitted them. Some were "undeliverable..."

Well, the thing of it is, is that it truthfully describes what the "queernation" is really after -- the right to boff young teen-age boys, the right to officially play house in an effort in self-delusion, and the priviledge of public license and acceptance of everything they do, right in your face.

Imagine a gay-pride parade on your street, all day, everyday.

Who knows who wrote it? Your outrage could very well be misdirected. It's not made up. It IS their agenda. There are no lies in this e-mail. They very well could have written it. They could be getting bolder now. They have their peni......er.......feet in the door.

I happen to think it's a hoax, spawn of the subterranean world of slash-and-burn politics, and I'm entitled to my opinion on the subject.
