Fears of Massive Illegal Ballots in Fla. - Again!

They're at it again in Florida, this time obtaining absentee ballots in the name of unsuspecting voters to fraudulently cast the stolen ballots in the November 5 election.

While Janet Reno is fighting to keep watchdog groups from monitoring voting in Miami-Dade County, signs of illegal election fraud schemes are already cropping up in Central Florida.

Acting on dozens of complaints that a vote fraud scheme using the names of Hispanics to get absentee ballots in their names without their knowledge is underway, Orange-Osceola State Attorney Lawson Lamar has sent investigators to watch as Orange County Elections Supervisor Bill Cowles started opening absentee ballot envelopes that have already arrived at his office.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, investigators say that they have uncovered various schemes involving the names, addresses or other voting documents of unsuspecting Hispanic voters being used to secure an absentee ballot which can then be used by thieves to cast votes for their candidate.

Absentee ballots coming from voters in state Senate District 19 are being dusted for fingerprints and examined to determine if the signatures on the envelopes match the handwriting on registration records, Orange County Democratic Party Chairman Doug Head told the Sentinel.

According to Head who is observing the process, of the roughly 15,000 absentee ballots that have arrived, fewer than a dozen were set aside to be looked at by the canvassing board, which is set to meet Monday afternoon.

The Sentinel reports that more than 43,000 absentees have been requested in Orange County, and officials fear that a load of illegal ballots will be dropped off at election offices at the last moment.

Randy Means, spokesman for the state attorney's office, however, told the Sentinel that he would not confirm which race or candidate is being examined because it could compromise the probe.

I'm a poll watcher and I was told NOT to take pictures inside the building -- it can be interpreted as voter intimidation -- but we can take pictures outside -- of tag numbers, people, etc.

Robert, they've been doing this for decades. We now have the conservative news outlets and forums like FR to share our personal experiences and uncover the Dem. mischief. We are speaking out across the country this year. The DOJ is investigating in state after state. We'll have DOJ, Congress, police, even Swiss foreigners at the SE Fla. polls tomorrow. We can help:

We are directing our campaigns to recruit poll workers, who will be there to guide voters through the process. We will have thousands of lawyers on the ground, so that no one is intimidated into foregoing their rights. - (Love) Terry McAuliffe.

Jeb Warns of Massive Democratic Vote Effort
NewsMax Wires
Monday, Nov. 4, 2002
Bill Clinton and the Democrats are making one final, major push to try to snatch the Florida's governorship, and Governor Jeb Bush is warning his supporters about this effort.

''My opponent is organizing hard,'' Bush told a crowd in Florida's Panama City.

``Millions of dollars from outside the state are coming into his campaign. Hundreds of people are organizing the get-out-the-vote effort in South Florida.''

''President Clinton is coming in for two days to mobilize their base,'' Bush said late last week.

Already, DNC chief Terry McAuliffe has said winning the Florida governorship was among his highest priorities.

Though Bush edges out McBride in the latest polls, the Democrats are organizing a massive voter turnout program.

Bill Clinton arrived Saturday into Miami for a massive rally with McBride and Janet Reno.

The Miami Herald reports that polls can be wrong here in Florida and that political "strategists say that those polls do not account for their ability to encourage nontraditional voters to cast ballots."

Already, the Democrats have launched a massive program to get black voters to vote early.

The Herald reports that "early voting has allowed civil rights activists and black church leaders to organize bus trips to help people vote. On Sunday, following church, as many as 80 buses carrying 60 people each will carry loyal Democrats from the Miami Arena to the county government center, where polls are scheduled to be open." In recent days, McBride has sought to woo Black voters, who were reluctant to come out for him after their candidate, Janet Reno, lost in the primary.

''My friends are Carrie Meek and Janet Reno,'' McBride told a black audience on a major radio talk show this week.

Reno and Rep. Carrie Meek have come out swinging for McBride, and even went to court late last week to block conservatives who support from Bush from monitoring voting at polling places Tuesday.

And there is more than a whiff of potential vote fraud games set for Election day.

Already, authorities in the Orlando area are investigating tens of thousands of absentee ballots that were sent out to Hispanic voters. And this week, Gov Bush turned down a request from Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) Supervisor of Elections Miriam Oliphant to keep polls open later on Election Day.

Oliphant also asked in a letter to Secretary of State Jim Smith to allow the county to use provisional paper ballots as an emergency backup if lines grow too long.

Apparently, leading Democratic Congressmen, including Reps. Peter Deutsch, D-Pembroke Pines, and Alcee Hastings, D-Miramar, have prompted that request.

And Friday, Janet Reno sought an emergency injunction from a Democratic judge to prevent the Emergency Committee to Stop Bill McBride from sending vote monitors to polling places on Tuesday.

You cannot take pictures inside but you can take pictures that are 200 feet from the door of the polling place and beyond! So everyone needs their cameras handy and take those pictures -- video cams would be great.

If you are there to vote legally no amount of camera equipment is going to intimidate a person!

Florida is a hopeless sewer of corruption.

Not all of Florida is hopeless, only south Florida. Broward county and Miami are especially corrupt.
BTW - Palm Beach is the dumb county.

The dnc has been claiming they will have "thousands" (of democratic) lawyers at the polls to intimidate challengers ... er, promote legal voting.

Question:

If you ask a democratic lawyer a question, or - in front of him - legally challenge a voter who is committing fraud who the lawyer then defends or tries to harrass you (the person finding the fraud) .... Is HE liable for misleading you (a felony?) or or giving you the wrong information about voter fraud?

In other words, if a democratic lawyer lies or distorts HIS LEGAL ADVICE TO YOU while at a polling place, isn't that lawyer guilty of professional malpractice and thus liable for his actions to the bar/legal system?

I don't know, Robert. Good question. My local SOE (Lee County) said that trained, scheduled poll workers would never be bumped for any DNC lawyer, but Broward County is outdoing its 2000 performance already. I told my SOE, and I mean it, that the presence of a DNC lawyer is grounds for a claim of voter intimidation from any GOP voter after election 2000. We can point to Boise, Herron, etc.* My advice would be to document "any and all concerns" and let the law sort it out later.

* Damn, Dirty, Democrats
