He was dead on in 2000 and in the Republican Revolution in 94. I hope he is wrong, but I wouldn't dismiss him.

One more time -- Zogby flipped on FL right before the election. The closeness of Florida was caused by the enormous amount of fraud in S. Fl and calling FL for Gore before the Panhandle polls closed.

The only way he got that one right was to have been tipped to the fraud. His brother worked for the Gore campaign BTW!

i agree don't dismiss. he may well be accurate. however, he wasn't on target in 94. his claim to fame is that he said dole wouldn't lose as bad as everyone thought he would.

True, his national samples are usually more accurate. But he is notoriously innacurate with local races. He had Rick Lazio near dead-even with Hillary with one day to go, and +10 in upstate NY. Hillary won by 12 and won upstate by 2%, a first for a Democrat since 1980. Dead wrong.

Zogby is working hand and hand with the DNC and has little credibility as far as I am concerned. He was bit more believable several yrs ago when he was an up-and-comer and was trying hard to build up his business. Now he doesn't need to do that. It no longer matters to him that people like you and me have figured him out. Now he can make plenty of money getting gigs at MSNBC. He doesn't need to work so hard to convince people he is
unbiased.

Zogby is not infallible. It is worth restating that Zogby could not have been more wrong in 2000 regarding the California results. The night before the election he had Bush up by 1 over Gore in California. Gore won the state by around 13 percentage points.
