Yeah, Margaret Carlson has got to be the MOST uninformed commentator with regard to this FL gov race. She has obviously not seen any of the debates, and has no cluie what is going on in this state. Someone sent her a McMumble bumper sticker or something, and that's all she knows.

Zogby is dreaming. He will do anything to help his terrorist loving rat friends.
He has lost all credibility with me since 2000.

They would like for Republicans to get frustrated and stay home. NO WAY! I'm VOTING no matter what the POLLS say! If I am the ONLY one voting Republican so be it!!! They will NOT discourage me from getting out and FIGHTING this fight!!! It didn't work!!!

This looks like his wish list instead of a poll.

Way to go, kcvl! Hugs!
Lurkers: please VOTE and call everyone you know and remind them to vote, too!

I agree - they would love for negative polls to keep people away from voting - won't work here either!
I'm praying for cold and rain to keep the old dem senior citizens home!

Is this the same Zogby? I thought I read people saying how great he was when his results showed Republicans ahead? So we blast a pollster if his results aren't what we want? He may be wrong but unless I'm mistaken a lot of folks had nice things to say when he showed the Demmies behind on various occasions. I personally get upset over various polls but have learned by now that these are indicators, sort of snapshots of who was polled at a given moment. As they very overused cliche counts "the only poll that counts is on election day" -- but I always find it amazing when folks immediate belittle someone if they don't like their prognosis.
I assume that in the future if he says Republicans are ahead in many races, in other elections, that there will be some consistency -- that he will be then also be dismissed as a hack. I wouldn't take bets on it!

I disagree. Zogby's reputation is based on how well he predicts the outcome of races.
He may be wrong, and I sure hope he is, but these numbers represent what he believes will happen Tuesday.

Charlie Cook also said the race was very tight, and close to dead even because of the possibly very high minority turnout.I think Cook may have been looking at the Zogby numbers. The Houston Chronicle (which endorsed Kirk) released a poll this morning showing Cornyn with an 8 pt lead.
As for minority turnout, it's not there. Kirk is running as Republican-lite which is hardly inspiring. Sanchez hasn't energized the hispanic vote as planned; he's going down in flames.
I don't think the Texas senate race is seriously in play.

There was another poll on FOX this AM that had Coleman ahead by 5 points in Mo.
Absentees also generally favor Republicans in quite a few states. They're busy working and have a harder time getting to the polls- where parasidic Dmocrats have nothing better to do.
It's like the "experts" profiling the snipers. Every one of them wrong.

I have already voted but I want to encourage all my Democratic friends to vote bright and early Wednesday morning

I'm sorry, the Houston Chronicle shows Cornyn with a 6 pt lead, not 8.

After seeing Zogby in some interviews, I don't trust him or his service any longer.
