They should clean up the Social Security databases I had a lady in the SSI Office tell me that at different times I've had four other people using my SSI number.

I know a guy who had a job background check and didn't get the job because of what others had done to his social security number. He was only 18 and apparently there was a woman using it in California and she wasn't an entirely honest person. You're lucky if yours didn't ruin your credit or get in trouble with the law.

"using my SSI number"...another hidden cost. I just noticed recently that my homeowners insurance carries coverage for identity theft. You know who pays for that.
