Hmmm...interesting...Minnesota used to have 13 electoral votes?? now they have 10...

Fritzo must have run them all off...

District of Columbia has 3 votes (if you're referring to Mondale's 13...)

So Mondale will debate on election eve? Yah, sure he will. He'll be snowed in at some remote Minnesota airport that evening even if the temperature is 78 and holding.

Yep. They won't let him out of his room, even with his walker. Sympathy vote is what they have. That's it.

Coleman talking to Minnesotans now- develop alternate fuel technologies that Minnesotans can provide (ethanol, soy diesel, etc) but do so with an eye towards not making fueld so expensive that farmers can't afford trucking. Opposes ANWR.

Why does this moderator state Mondale's position? If he didn't show, his opinion shouldn't be represented!

I'm telling ya...he's kicking butt...he knows the answers inside and out and they don't sound rehearsed

why is the questioner giving Mondale's position?? if he doesn't show, why give him free time?? it's a matter of respect...

This guy is so far left it hurts. But liberals in Minnesota might like him better than the empty chair, if they're watching. He's speakin' their language.

Yep. Mondale had to resign from corporate seats to run in Mo. He's a man wrapped in big business.

I think the fact that the moderator is having to READ Mondull's position on topics is looking REALLY bad for the Dems.

The moderator interviewed Mondale, and is reading his answer to some of the questions. I am biased, but to me this more than gives the impression that Mondale simply wanted to avoid the debate.

I think it actually hurts him more having the moderator say "I asked him earlier and he said this" than if he was simply ignored there.

8:42pm EST - Just as Coleman began answering the question about the environment, the Green Party candidate, the blind guy in blue jeans, picked his nose, brought his hand down to his lap, and rolled the booger around in the fingers of his right hand. Ewwwwww. Darn it! I was hoping there was a good Green Party candidate to pull Dem votes away.

The moderator is taking the New Jersey position, that even if you withdraw your position should be represented.

I am surprised they didn't try to send a surrogate for Mondale to the debate. But then with the moderator, I guess they didn't have to.
