Rush: Minnesota is now a dead heat again
Rush Limbaugh | Nov 1, 2002

Posted on 11/01/2002 10:33:20 AM PST by John Jorsett

Rush has just reported on his show that internal Republican polling now shows Minnesota to be a statistical dead heat once again, Mondale having dropped 7 points. He cites the Democrat funerally (my borrowed term from another talk show) for Wellstone as one reason, particular among independent voters who were turned off by the tone of the event and Ventura's walking out.

Interesting.

Still waiting for some confirmation from independent media polls. Is Zogby doing any polling in MN this year?

I've always liked Ventura. After his honorable reaction to Tuesday's disgrace, I like him more.

If I was Fritz I would go lite on the Air Travel till after the election. The powers that be in the Dem party might need another funeral/rally to get the Dems back up in the polls in MN!

How dare the GOP besmirch the memory of Saint Paul Wellstone by continuing to campaign?

Shades of GOP hatred of women in Missouri. How dare they challenge the Widow.

Yeah baby, I heard that.
Tuesday nights fiasco may have cost the RATs a senate seat.

Thank you Bill, Hill and Terry!

I think the debate without Mondale is going to substantially boost the vote for the Indy and Green candidates, who will be there. Coleman, if he's smart, will debate in a way that will boost the votes for those two.

Rush also mentioned that Mondale finally had to come out and say that he'd have voted with Wellstone to oppose Bush's resolution on Iraq. That's what repelled some voters from Wellstone, and presumably now from Mondale as well.

In Minnesota:

Today Cheney is there; Saturday is First Lady Laura Bush; Sunday is President George W. Bush; and batting clean-up is Rudy on Monday!

Rush has just reported on his show that internal Republican polling now shows Minnesota to be a statistical dead heat once again,

Rush also had a sound bite where in the 1984 (I think it was) DemoCritter Convention, Mondale said; "WE WILL TAX THEIR BUTTS OFF OF THEM.

Hopefully people are getting the message what they will get if Mondale wins.

"Still waiting for some confirmation from independent media polls. Is Zogby doing any polling in MN this year?"

Yes, he is. And as soon as they finish calling the 600 registered demorats, 100 Republicans, and 100 Green Party members, he'll publish the poll results.
