He sure does make a room electric. West Virginians love the guy. He talks about their values. Ohio and I discussed how WV really ought to be Republican because the people really are very conservative on all the social issues. They have been duped by the welfare peddlers and the union thugs for too many years. Then there's the "tradition" factor. Pappy was a democrat and that's good enough for me. They don't pay enough attention to politics to know what's really going on. They tend to trust what democRATS tell them. But I think they may be beginning to see the light.

It was so funny too. OhioWfan was in a trance the rest of the evening. I asked her at one point, "what color were his eyes?" She said she forgot to look. We giggled over that. Here we were both touching close the the President and we forgot all about the mystery of his eye color. We FORGOT to look....aggggh. Dubya also coined a new word last night. One we've never heard him use before. He said the enemy hides in caves. "They just sort of ooch around and hide." So we have decided that"ooch" is a good word. We will be using it a lot.
