WASHINGTON (AP) ? Younger black adults are increasingly more politically independent and less likely to identify themselves as members of the Democratic Party, says a new poll that suggests overall support among blacks for Democrats over Republicans is still strong.

Maybe they realized that decades of whining, claiming victimhood status, and accepting free handouts hasn't done them a hell of a lot of good. It might have something to do with the realization that their "leaders" are exploiting them for their own personal gain while hobnobbing with every scumbag criminal and terrorist, too.
And the rich folk, too. Jesse hobnobs with the rich and is living on the rich folk's money. He's such a hypocrite
Am I the only one that remembers a SNL episode with him on it?
"The Point is Moot"? And I doubt they replay that skit like they do like all the others.
What the Democrats should have done is bring in one of the black Democratic US Senators, except for the fact that their aren't any.
The Democrats are the new slavemasters and have 90% of black Americans on the plantation.
The Democrats are not supporting McCall in NY, have never reached out to a black american for Senate or the VP position and have never had a black American Secretary of State or National Security Advisor.
Colin Powell will be the first black American President, and the rats will be exposed for the racists they are.
Apparently, they are happy to have black American votes, but are not happy to have them as national or statewide canidates.
And just what is Mondales, Lautenbergs, McBrides, and Terry MCauliffes position on reparations for slavery?
I don't have a clue, as nobody in the RNC has bothered to get them on record.
Ping!
But the timing is right for those conservatives who truly care to take advantage of this fact, and boldly spread the conservative message to these people.
Therefore, I ask for each of you to stand behind and support those of us who are taking the conservative message to younger black people. If nothing else, lend your moral support. That's all I ask.
Remember, we're targeting just 10-15%.
Thank you.
I remember he mentioned "women that go to grocery stores in short tennis skirts", and "people that push elevator buttons twice".
Do you remember any of the others?
80% with a favorable view of Clinton, 66% with a favorable view of Gore, and 39% with a favorable view of Bush....
183% of voters have a favorable view of someone < /sarcasm >
I appreciate that and am flattered. But to be honest, I don't have the temperment for it. I'm to much of a "hot-head" to be out front.
But working behind the scenes, however...
This is NEVER a problem for Democrats, because they have the ULTIMATE pot-sweetener: Government largesse.
Dems have NO PROBLEM promising more and more people a greater and greater share of "government money" that they simply turn around and extort from the general populace in taxes, user fees, fines, bribes, etc.
Just as long as the Dems can identify a large enough group of "have-nots"--people that have never figured out how the American dream works, and that you have to WORK to be "lucky in life's lottery," to use Gephardt's phrase--they are home free.
They can take from those who PRODUCE (who tend to be Republicans) and give to those who don't, who then become their long-term constituency.
They are, even now, working diligently to corrupt the Latino population--historically very hard-working, though not particularly wealthy--into thinking they can sit back and allow Los Gringos to pay the freight. Don't know if it's working, but we'll see.
So, if the blacks finally slip off the reservation, never fear: The ever-resourceful Dems will find SOMEONE to give YOUR money to, in exchange for their sinecures.
About time, especially since the guys under the KKK hoods were mostly Democrats. It's easy to forget that, along with the fact that MLK senior was a Republican.
