There is no evidence that Muhammad was funded by any organized terrorist groups...

I hope investigators don't leave it at that. Money trails are not just made by paper.

"was ticketed for shoplifting meat and frozen foods from a Tacoma grocery store"....ticketed? Never heard of that. Is Tacoma liberal heaven? In Virginia, they would arrest your butt.

They should track down the money, and they should look at the backtrails on these two perps. Where have they been, whom have they associated with, what have they been up to for the past 5 or 10 years?

But I doubt that they will do any of this. They will be too fearful of what they might turn up.

Analogy time: Bacteria such as cause smallpox, cholera, tuberculosis and plague were once the scourge of mankind. But these buggers made nice juicy targets for antibiotics and vacines, and now, while not extinct, are no longer the leading cause of death in most parts of the world.

Communists, in the Soviet Union in particular, was once the single greatest threat not only to liberty, but even to life, on this planet. But under the leadership of such heroes as Reagan, they have been pushed back. They are still there (in China, Cuba and elsewhere), but no longer the threat they were.

The diseases that turn cells against their own hosts body, that infiltrate in sneaky ways with snippets of DNA and confusions of the immune system, including cancer, coronary artery disease and AIDS, are now the scourge of the civilized world. They are trickier to take out.

The terrorism that feeds especially on radical islam is like a sneaky virus. We've seen car bombs, snipers, boat bombs, plane hijackings and bombs, anthrax, shoe bombers, box cutters, kidnappings, West Nile disease and Lord knows what else. They are infiltrated into the Mosques and Muslim movements of our society, and into the prisons. They feed on various crimes and charities, and on large donations from Arab oil money. They are in Moscow, the Phillipines, Yemen, Germany, Britain, Canada, most cities in the U.S.A., and elsewhere.

We could crank up the satellite imagery and see the Soviet military might, just as Pasteur and others could crank up their microscopes and see the bugs.

Seeing and digging out the terrorist threat will be tougher. More innocents will die, more guilty go free.

The moral and intellectual clarity and honesty of conservatives, such as Bush, help us see the enemy a little better. The moral and intellectual decay of liberals obscures the enemy more.

We now have another reason to be conservative. Already it was important that we defend the Constitutional basis of this nations Freedom, as the strongest pillar of freedom in the world for a century now. That freedom has been under attack from liberals for that same century, and must not be lost. Now also we need moral and intellectual clarity and strength to fight terrorism and the radical islam behind it.

I'm still trying to find out how they purchased a 1990 Chevy Caprice for $250 that's not sitting on blocks. Blue book value for this car in "Fair" condition is $650.
Poster on here suggested that it was worth more, just that they reported the value as $250 to pay less in taxes on it.
