I'm still trying to find out how they purchased a 1990 Chevy Caprice for $250 that's not sitting on blocks. Blue book value for this car in "Fair" condition is $650.
Poster on here suggested that it was worth more, just that they reported the value as $250 to pay less in taxes on it.

Seem to recall hearing (Fox news I believe) that the Chevy Caprice was purchased on 9-11-2001. Anyone else hear this and/or can this be confirmed?

If it is correct, a strange coincidence to be sure!
