If you are not familiar with Mark Steyn's work, do a little search. He writes for the Telegraph and the National Post in Canada, but lives in New England. He is one of the great favorites here and I just can't imagine how long is the ping list that Pokey78 has.

The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals says that such an approach "presents disturbing First and Fourth Amendment implications." In March 1993, Texas cops pulled over Jeffrey Estep when they caught him doing 47 mph in a 35 mph zone. They searched his car after seeing the sticker. "If the presence of an NRA sticker and camouflage gear in a vehicle could be used by an officer to conclude he was in danger," ruled the court, "half the pickups in the state of Texas would be subject to a vehicle search."
