I heard it on the local news broadcast, a person from the paper even talked about the endorsement. You can read the endorsement tomorrow.

I had no sooner finished posting a diatribe on another thread against the St. Pete Times for endorsing McBride when the phone rang. It was a sweet young thing, selling a trial subscription to the rag.
I told her I had cancelled five years ago and would never renew. She asked me if I had read it "lately" and why I had cancelled in the first place. That was her fatal mistake.......

The other day when I got to work the teacher I was subbing for had a bunch of McBride literature in her teacher's box. It had things like "We're going to turn our headlights on for McBride on Tuesday!" and other nonsense like that. Supposedly they are going to get together in the next week or so and stand somewhere with signs. I'm going to find out where that is and make my own sign, double-sided. Let's see, how about:
I demand higher taxes and less accountability! Vote McBride!
and
What's yours should be mine! Vote McBride!
Then I'll go stand amongst them. "No, seriously, this is how I feel! I'm with you! You won't make me go away, will you? Actually, you can't. Think of it as truth in advertising."

I just received this from a friend: I read that the Florida Education Association just put a $1.7 million mortgage on their Tallahassee headquarters so they could take the equity out and use it for political purposes, to defeat Jeb Bush.
Now, how will they repay this loan? Through property taxes, which are paid by all residents of Florida. thus, public funds will be going for political ends, and taxpayers will be making involuntary political contributions to candidates they don't like.
This is similar to my idea last year of suing the NEA for using taxpayer funds for political ends. I didn't know who to send that idea to, so it didn't go anywhere, but this one is even more egregious and deserves to be countered.
Why should the Left be the only ones to use the courts? Do you know any tough-minded conservative groups that might be willing to sue the FEA?
Thanks, I am steaming mad about this---

If these facts are TRUE, I assume that Landmark Legal Foundation and Mark Levin probably already know. To be sure, you might send them an Email. This group is doing wonderful work in this area.

In related news, Orlando Slantinel "reporter" Mark Silva was banned from the press room when he attempted to change all 800,000 copies of the edition endorsing JEB with his box of crayons.
Go JEB!
