FLINT, Michigan (CNN) -- FBI agents in Flint, Michigan, have picked up Nathaniel Osbourne -- the registered co-owner of the car in which the Washington-area sniper suspects were found when they were captured -- as a material witness, authorities said Saturday.

Whoa! If he's 18, he's up for the death penalty in Maryland--as if they'd ever execute him. The better chances are in Alabama and Virginia.

It's not only CCN, the warrent itslef If the warrant says Williams, and the guys' legal name is Muhammad, and the Maryland officials didn't put in an AKA, which I don't see on the warrant, wouldn't that make the warrants invalid? I'm sure JC would argue that it did....except that Alabama or Virginia probably don't have such politically correct DA's and their warrants will have the guys own choice of, and legally changed, name on them. Which is a "good thing", because he's much more likely to have a death sentence carried out in those states before he dies of old age.

Jamaica's Foreign Affairs Ministry said a Lee Boyd Malvo is registered as having been born in Kingston on Feb. 18, 1985, to Una James and Leslie Samuel Malvo, and a Lee Malvo attended high school in Jamaica before emigrating to another Caribbean island in 1998 at age of 13.

I think the question of Malvo's age needs further investigation. It sounds like there's a discrepancy the investigators have uncovered.

The men were stopped, the sources said, because they did not completely stop at a stop sign. The officer ran the license plate number to see if the car was stolen, but it came back clean and no ticket was issued.

In all my years of driving, using every conceivable tactic, I have never been let go without be given a traffic citation for speeding, running a red light or a stop sign. On one occasion, I was driving my very pregnant and in labor wife to the hospital that was thirty miles away and still got a ticket for going 7 miles an hour over the speed limit. I've gotten a few warnings but these were instances where there was no clear infraction and usually involved improper lane change or something wrong with the car, like a tail light out.

confirmed that Williams and Osbourne co-owned the Chevy Caprice. The car's dealership title says the vehicle -- which law enforcement officials called a "killing machine" -- was purchased for $250 at Sure Shot Auto in Trenton, New Jersey.

Am I the only one who has never heard of a $250 car with co-owners?

Federal agents arrested Nathanel O. Osbourne, 26, in a north Flint neighborhood Saturday at around 9:30 a.m. He had been sought as a witness in the case, not a suspect. In September, he allegedly helped suspect John Allen Muhammad buy the Caprice in Trenton, N.J. Osbourne reportedly visited a Flint woman he had met out of state and sat in on a church Bible study here last week even as FBI agents looked for him in New Jersey, his most recent home. He was taken into custody from a house on W. Bishop Avenue, said William J. Kowalski, special agent in charge of the Flint FBI office. His arrest came one day after FBI agents scoured the New Jersey cities of Trenton and Camden, where Osbourne reportedly lived recently. "Oh, my goodness," said the Rev. Charles Byrd, who owns the house where Osbourne was arrested and lives two doors away. Byrd said Osbourne was visiting a woman who lives at that house. Osbourne attended a Wednesday night Bible study class at Byrd's church, Greater Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church in Genesee Township. Neighbors confirmed that Osbourne had stayed at a home on Bishop. Byrd said Osbourne and the woman he was visiting had met at a truck driving school in Indianapolis and talked to him about getting married. Osbourne, a native of Jamaica, also spoke of returning to New Jersey and getting his U.S. citizenship, Byrd said.
