The "experts" who said the sniper was a right-wing white guy and the anthrax (vanity)

While not all evidence is in, it looks like the sniper was a Muslim. Huge surprise to some.

All the newsmedia talking heads and the "expert" profilers, have been saying the sniper was a white domestic right-wing domestic. Even as more evidence mounted that this could possibly be terrorism, the networks did all they could to steer clear of it.

Freepers have been saying this was Islamic terrorism since day one. I guess that makes the Freepers smarter than the people whose job it is to profile. But we're really not smarter we just have common sense, and we're not afraid to be un-PC. We are at war with Islam, and anybody who tries to pretend that we're not is a fool.

One of the anthrax mailings said something along the lines of "death to america, death to israel, allah is great". This led the experts to believe that this is a domestic right wing terrorist. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that just like in the sniper case, the "experts" are wrong. We're at war with Islam here people, wake up.

"Idiot" is being way too kind. He used the damn thing, too.

Looks like he really fell apart over the last 72 hours or so.

No, that all black American muslims are connected to international terrorist networks and should be rounded up.

Exactly, Michael. That's the 'beauty' of the structure of Al Quaida -- which just means 'the Base.' A 'cell' can be just a couple of guys. You don't have to belong physically to the group, just be willing to pitch in and 'help' on cue. And the message from OBL (even if fake) was the cue.

He is most likely a terrorists wannabe. He has listened to the American left tell everyone how America is evil and the black man is still a slave and held down by whitey. He decided that the US is the enemy and islam is his salvation - He was happy about 911 and wanted to help his islamic brothers. He killed black and white because above all the were Americans. Too bad for the networks they wanted a white NRA racist. Now they has a Ameirca hater who they will spin as insane.

It's a religion hate crime, not a race hate crime. When they kept stressing how diverse the victims were, I kept thinking that no Muslims had been shot.

I understand what you're saying, but it still begs the question. How did the shooter know who was who? Not all Muslims dress in "traditional" garb.

At any rate, your statement "It's a religion hate crime" really says a mouthful. In short, Islam is hate. It's straight up and down hate. So I guess that means that Muslims are walking "hate crimes" all to themselves.

Just a thought.

Yep... It just shows that it does not take a BRAIN to sit in the woods and shoot innocent non-suspecting people.

This is someone who never owned a credit card before and really hasn't figured out how the whole process works.

>>I don't see that this particular instance is a case of "war with Islam." This appears to me to be a case of an evil, stupid man who is also an opportunist. "I'll change my name to something Muslim, rob, kill, and maim, and excuse it all in the name of Allah if I have to."<<

Black Muslims change their names to Muslim names. They ARE Muslims, make no mistake about it, although a particular sect.

I've heard it reported that this guy worked security at The Million Man March, a creation of Black Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan.

Farrakhan defended Osama Bin Laden after the 911 attacks, don't forget.

He converted to Islam about 15 years ago, and worked with the Nation of Islam's security on the million man march.

Surely after the McVeigh debacle you can understand why anything that appears co-incidental ought to be thoroughly checked out. Or are you condfident that Iraq had nothing to do with the OKC bombing? All I'm saying is that anything suspicious should be checked out. What's wrong with that?

Why does a 'terrorist' have to be 'international'? That is not how Al-Quaeda operates. They operate via independent cells. When one needs a weapon, or a training course, he goes to The Base -- which is all that Al-Quaeda means.

Not all Muslims are terrorist, but (almost) all terrorists are Muslims. A MUCH higher preponderance than in any other group. Yes, they should be looked at with a higher level of suspicion. They should be checked out at the first whiff of something wrong.

9-11 has set off (or perhaps just intensified) a worldwide Jihad. Let's not get hung up on determining who's a 'card-carrying member' -- the groups and cells name themselves at will. Let's just call them all Jihadists who prove their sympathies by their actions. And AT LEAST check them out.

What else do these particular terrorists "never do?" Hmmmmmmmm?

Don't you know that having the word "absurdity" that close to the term "hate crime" is redundant? ;-)

These guys apparently hate America and what it stands for.

Go straight to the head of the class.

"I just don't know if I get the desire to take out a portion of the American population when they've not been found guilty of anything."

Don't put me in that group. (Not that you did, but just for the record.) NOTHING I have said relates to that mentality at all.
