The thing that will upset some Freepers is that this case doesn't fit the 'profile' they had in mind - whether that be angry white male OR Al Queda. Sorry, just a couple of whack-jobs.
It still remains to be seen whether he was connected with Al Qaeda. I don't think Al Qaeda is going to have their sleeper agents pass some sort of religious litmus test to commit acts of terror (notice that the 9-11 terrorists had strippers perform lap dances for them shortly before the hijacking). Plus I'm still interested in that Campground Zero aspect of this case.
I don't think the 9/11 hijackers practiced their faith either in the traditional sense of the word "practice" as they frequented bars, strip clubs, and had a varied diet.
The info about this suspect released so far would tend to make me believe that he did have some anti american motive for these actions based upon his distorted view of Islam.
As far as I know, only the stepson is Jamaican. Stepson. As in, no relation.
And I suppose that Mohammed working security for the Nation of Islam's Million Man March is just a coincidence too.

I have a theory that nut cases and people with violent dispostions gravitate to whatever ideology supports their desire to bully and hurt people. Islam is currently IT.
I will have sympathy for Islam just a soon as I see a million muslim march on D.C. denouncing Muslim inspired terrorsim. Until then they are all guilty in my mind. Their silence is admission of their guilt.
