I Know Christian conservative teachers that have fought the NEA and they are no longer teaching. School District keeps moving them around and generally making their lives miserable. I just attempt to make a difference at the school level. 80% of my students are affected by FAS to varying degrees and that in itself keeps me busy enough. More conservatives should become teachers and make a real difference. They will then also witness how our ed system is being federalized not privatized at an ever increasing rate.
Until you see the problems from inside the school, you will never gain a true perspective of what America is facing concerning education.
