To recap, the sniper left a note saying to deposit $10M into a credit card (how that works I don't know). Police checked it out and the card's stolen.
The police are looking for shell casings at the house in Tacoma. However, its a residential neighborhood so I can't see how he could fire it at the house.

From what I understood, the money asked for was to be deposited to a credit card account but the credit card was stolen so the police would not deposit the money.
