Ok, I just got back to the computer. Yeah, Malvo was a junior at Bellingham H.S. in Whatcom County.
The Mayor of Bellingham is an idiot. Bellingham is an enclave of liberal nuts. It is dominated by Western Washington University, a Berkeley wannabe. The campus looks like something out the seventies, with the addition of Gay/Lesbian fliers pasted everywhere.
Last week, my husband donated $50,000 to the city on behalf of the company that he works for. The head of the local Rotary club introduced him as Jefferson Davis (his first name is Jeff), and the idiot mayor couldn't remember the name of the company that donated the money, when he got up to thank him. I think that the whole city is suffering from a collective case of Alzheimers.

These people should still be watched. Know what you mean. You can see the slide of our culture in some of the profiles and some of the posts on these forums. A lot of potential perps being made every day. It will reach flash point one day.

hmmm.. homo-sniper? I think it's a little early for that leap of logic. You know what? I'm gonna go out on a limb here and hold to my original theory. I've just gotten home and haven't read through all the news here on FR yet, but I heard this morning that the 17 yr. old is supposed to be John Mohammed's "step-son", but I don't know if that has been confirmed yet. He told people it was his step-son. If these two aren't related by blood or marriage, I'm willing to bet that there's some hanky-panky between the two of them. I bet this is one of those "toxic" relationships, where they probably weren't dangerous until they got together.

Palling around with a 17 year old he passed off as his step-son to at least one person, but who isn't related to him at all? Sure, lots of 40-something straight men love to hang out with teenage boys and pass them off as their sons....NOT!!!!! You don't have to be gay to engage in homosexual behavior anyway. Look at men in prison. So the older guy may not consider himself gay at all, even though something might be going on with the kid, but I think the kid is gay at least.
As far as an odd set of facts for a guy...everything about him is odd.
If I turn out to be wrong, I'll admit I was wrong. But if I turn out to be right, I hope you'll acknowledge it.

Actually, I don't think there's anything sexual about the shooting spree; I was speaking to the relationship between the two individuals themselves.
But now that you mention it, most serial killings (and I don't think these two are classic serial killers) are sexually motivated--Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, so a sexual component to the sniper shootings is not outside the realm of possibility. But again, I don't think there is in this case.
But as I said before, and I'll say it again more clearly this time, since I'm starting to question your reading comprehension skills, if my hypothesis is wrong I'll admit I'm wrong. It's not important to me whether or not these two suspects are gay. It doesn't make them any worse than they already are. It's just a hypothesis.
My question for you is...well, now I have two. Firstly, will you acknowledge my hypothesis is correct if we start finding out details to support it? That was my original question, but here's the new one: Why are you not even willing to consider the possibility? You're very emphatic in pooh-pooing the whole idea, with no consideration whatsoever.
