And they did find a weapon and .223 ammo, if I rememebr correctly... I can't remember what all was found, I just remember that the "community was outraged" because they were arrested. Go figure.

Maybe those guys did know something (from the phonebooth) and in return for information, they got deported kind of a witness protection program so the sniper wouldn't kill them next. They were in custody for awhile and then they were immediately deported. The INS doesn't usually deport anybody - everyone knows that. lol
