All seems quiet since yesterday's news the shooter may target children specifically. It was released on various news outlets the shooter's 3-page letter to police was in broken English and threatened extreme violence. Police announced an electronic transfer of $10m as requested by the shooter was not possible but other options for transfer remain open. No one seriously believes police will actually give the shooter $$, but police are trying to keep a dialogue open with the shooter in an effort to capture this monster.

Clinton Maryland, at least according to Mapquest, is very close to Andrews air force base.

Very short drive, as I know from the weekends I pulled reserve duty at Andrews.

I wonder if they had plans to take down Air Force One.

Just to make it clear, this camp coudl be mislabeled. Isee nothing wrong with farms etc. ,being used by LE for example to train... There are some in missouri. Good down to earth guys operate them..like weekend training camps for law enforcements. But this doesn't sound like that.

Camp Ground Zero is the Al Queda linked Training camp, but the news is bent on calling it a Militia training camp...

Guy on Fox just sneeringly referred to "Camp Ground Zero" and the "gun culture."

I think it was the one that had the woman and it was her ex-husband. By the way, the two brothers in Oregon were raised in Maryland in a very strict Muslim family. The parents are now in Saudi Arabia I believe.

I'm not so sure that saying "I am God" is wrong in a muslim mindset, given that there are no religious prohibitions on lying to "infidels". Even though that's obviously a lie, they might consider it ok, so far as they consider it a means to our destruction.

I'm *wondering* if the FBI/GOV is taking advantage of *easily?* getting warrants now with anything potentially related to sniping.... doing a broad sweep in a pre-imptive strike to get rid of potential terrorist problems on the horizon.

I'm thinking they are going over Haystacks in hope of coming up something with the DC snipers.

The camp is privatly owned and anyone who wants to pay for it can get trained there. If MEs are funded, they can actually be trained by Americans, on American soil, to kill Americans. Now THAT would be stunning.
