All seems quiet since yesterday's news the shooter may target children specifically. It was released on various news outlets the shooter's 3-page letter to police was in broken English and threatened extreme violence. Police announced an electronic transfer of $10m as requested by the shooter was not possible but other options for transfer remain open. No one seriously believes police will actually give the shooter $$, but police are trying to keep a dialogue open with the shooter in an effort to capture this monster.

The New Jersey State Supreme Court ruled today that the New Jersey State Democratic Party could replace Frank Lautenberg on the ballot with a stump. The Chief Justice was quoted as saying, "We feel the the interests of the voters required a competitive two-party race. Senator Lautenberg was not doing so well out on the stump, so we have permitted the Democrats to just send the stump."

Word is that they x-rayed the stump before they cut it out of the ground.

Now... what I wanna know is... just exactly how do you x-ray a stump and where exactly do you get the equipment to do that? Whattya do... Bust into a local dentist's office and run out with the x-ray machine saying "s'cuze us, we need this for minute but we'll bring it back when we're done"... ????
