All seems quiet since yesterday's news the shooter may target children specifically. It was released on various news outlets the shooter's 3-page letter to police was in broken English and threatened extreme violence. Police announced an electronic transfer of $10m as requested by the shooter was not possible but other options for transfer remain open. No one seriously believes police will actually give the shooter $$, but police are trying to keep a dialogue open with the shooter in an effort to capture this monster.

Hummmm, well it could mean the killer and Chief Moose are getting along just fine. Moose announces press conference, killer just goes ahead and phones him. Works for me. :)Cuts out the middle men-us.:)

This is more bizaare. I don't think they CAN cover the Moscow situation. They don't know how to cover anything where there aren't live cams any more.

Latest I could find on Moscow. Chilling;
"The terrorists are demanding one thing - the end to the war in Chechnya," Gribakin said.
Russian news reports said the armed men and women were laying land mines inside the theater and had explosives strapped to their bodies which they threatened to blow up if Russian security forces stormed the building.
A woman who made her way out of the theater told a television interviewer the men wore camouflage as they took the stage, fired into the air and said: "Don't you understand what's going on? We are Chechens."
News reports said the hostage-takers arrived in jeep-like vehicles just as the second act of the play was about to begin. When police and security forces surrounded the theater, the attackers opened fired and threw a grenade. One of the hostages, a doctor, was treating a hostage-taker who was wounded.

And, I don't doubt for a minute Fox has this fellows picture and surname.
Why it is being withheld, I can't fathom. Even if he is just a crazy loner rabid nationalist trained sniper who deserted and made large cash withdrawals in the US in Sept, who looked like the unofficial identikit composite of the sniper, but is innocent of murdering people, he is a MISSING PERSON.
Nows the chance to find him...
