Of course many have been bearing this in mind as they dutifully read through the whole thread. Communication isn't the problem because they've been doing that: he can leave another letter, they can answer via tv. If he wanted to make another phone call he could without worrying about its being traced immediately, because if he can fire a weapon and escape detection then surely he can make a brief call from a payphone and get away safely. "Compliance" means he wants them to do something for him. Wiring funds? I can't see how it's possible to move a lot of money anywhere now, with the FBI etc. already poised, and guarantee that it can't be traced. Moose said "can't comply electronically", suggesting they could go about it some other means, so maybe he wants (as someone has hinted a few miles back up there) them to broadcast some nutty message of his live or something and they're trying to steer him toward submitting another hand-written manifesto.
