Moose: Can't Communicate Electronically with you
Fox News ^ | 10/22/00 | Fox News

Posted on 10/22/2002 4:18:38 PM PDT by Koblenz

Mr. Moose just held another news conference. Said the Police Department couldn't communicate electronically with the sniper in the manner he requested. What a mess.

The police said call back to get an 800 number or a PO Box.

"One lonely gunman does not have the (saudi) resources to do all of this."

Sorry, but I don't buy that. The very same comment was made during the mailbox bombings here in the Midwest. "A single person couldn't being doing all of this... blah, blah, blah." (I'm an outside salesman. I remember stating to my wife that that circuit would be quite easy for a single person. Sure enough, it turned out to be a single, not-so-smart, college student pulling off the bombings.)

I agree that this is some form of terrorism. It could be international or domestic. Regardless, what has been happened so far could easily be achieved by a single person. What "resources"? .223 ammo is cheap. Gasoline is cheap. What in this case would indicate any large investment of resources?

Yes. Chief, Not anymore in this situation. This may be a good man but, this is not working out. Patience is wearing thin. Be patient till the number hits 20 or some school kids. He needs help or at least a presence that he is not the only one in charge. Presentation weak. It's not working. Time to move on to someone who may be more effective. What we must look like all over the world and the message it sends. Hey, lets get them now they are so weak. If it's not a terriorist, it may be next time.

I can think of at least two ways to receive a message without being traced.
Not with email, but you could do something like post in an IRC chatroom a coded message. It would be pretty hard to trace off of there as you can get onto a foreign computer from here in the US pretty easily. Plus if it is in Super Secret Sniper Code the others in the room wouldn't know what's going on. Hell you could just ROT13 the messages and people wouldn't look twice at it.

Is this Moose guy competent?

Don't sweat. He's the official spokesman but be assured he is working with competent people behind the scenes, persons who are probably "suggesting" everything he says and does.

"Coming soon to a theater near you!"

Isn't that how Yasser got his start? Firebombing crowded theaters showing "immoral" films to his fellow Møøse Slimes?...

Disagree. They can determine exactly where his computer is from email communications.

No, it can be done in a way that is untraceable. I'm not going to state it publicly, but feel free to mail me and I'll explain.

He is at least as competent as the police chief in my town, and most likely more than.

I think Dubya is extremely competent, but I still cringe sometimes when I listen to him in an off-the-cuff speech.
Ditto. Its almost as if Dubya is trying to do a forced folksy way of talking and pulls some boners out of his rear end. With him I just have to look past the syntax gaffes and get to the meat of the message.

Hey, I know our former house painter turned police chief could handle the job! Not.

You know, maybe they don't so much want cash wired as somebody's siezed bank account(s) somewhere unfrozen.

BINGO! That "feels" right...

I wonder if the feds. are scripting this for Moose?

I'd say yes...there are too many jurisdictions involved for Moose to really be in charge as is being reported.

Secure and anonymous communication via the internet is a simple matter

That's all well and good, but the issue is not electronic communication as has been erroneously stated in the tile of this thread......the issue and operative word is compliance.

"He grew tired of the highly charged political conflicts with anarchists, kids in black, and left this highlt liberal town for his "nice quite post in suburban East Coast Virginia."

I thought he was in Maryland?

I'm afraid that people are too preoccupied with second-guessing the authorities to recognize that this is beyond their control. I think prayer is in order here! Am I wrong?

PayPal is good. Perhaps he accepts American Express. Or their shadow card, Murky Express, issued only to bagmen, mafiosi in Federal Witness Protection program, DemonRat politicians accepting kickbacks.

With so much shady money moving around the world, there are clearly ways to make it happen. Call Marc Rich and ask him how it's done, or Clinton, who was on the take fulltime.

They can determine exactly where his computer is from email communications.

I know of at least two different methods that are untracable.
