Chief Moose Press Briefing: Sniper says "Your children are not safe - anywhere, at any time"

It is amazing that no one has forwarded any good leads so far, even with the $500,000 reward and everyone looking around. Either the monster has no suspicious neighbors or is being helped.

Why can't that reward be massively increased, like a hundredfold? Surely $50 million would tempt somebody.

And the sniper started his spree of single shots on Oct. 2, the day after Ari Fleischer made his statement about one bullet getting rid of Saddam Hussein.

Political demands. He's admitting he's a terrorist.

The VA school officials who closed the schools did so because the text of at least the threat had been leaked by VA LE to local parents, who then demanded that the schools be shut. Once those parents knew, it was just a matter of time before everybody else found out.

First and foremost all woods should be watched. Limit access to only school parents' vehicles in certain areas. I like the idea presented of circling busses around the transfer areas to protect children. Etc.

Why is TheMoose relaying this Creep's propaganda for him? It's obvious the message is intended to scare the populace, and TheMoose is just aiding and abetting him in his quest. Of what possible investigative logic is the decision to repeat this statement based?

I suspect the sniper wanted Moose to announce the message, "Your children are not safe...," either yesterday or Sunday.

When the message was not forthcoming from Moose to the public the sniper sent a message of displeasure to Moose by murdering the bus driver IN Moose's territory.

The sniper was not happy Moose did not follow his demands and he let him know it by killing another citizen.

After the murder, the decision was made to release the message to the public.

I know, but I'd imagine that Saddam knew what was coming. The ultra-high grade of the weaponized anthrax points to Russia scientists selling to Saddam. This wasn't any American nutjob stealing from any American lab.

I personally think he's firing a pistol with a long barrel and a scope, and walking away on foot. He doesn't seem to be shooting from an especially great distance, or to be very accurate. Just a hunch, but this possibility never seems to cross anyone's mind.

Well, we know he's demanded money, and I'll eat my sneakers of Mosse is VOLUNTARILY communicating with the psychotic b@stard via television, no matter HOW incompetent anyone says he is...and since the letter was three pages long, there are no telling how many other things the killer(s) ranted and raved about and demanded. Also, since certain law enforcement agencies are acting as though they believe they might get information from members of other terrorist organizations which we have in custody, I'm guessing they are taking whatever is in the snipers' communique's as a terrorist threat.

If a shooting occured in my area I would be the first out there with my rifle looking for the SOB and than would be the first person picked up by law enforcement so you know this would not work.

Or another likely scenario: We're both out there looking for him and shoot each other thinking each other is him and he gets away.
