we wern't after Iraq at the time. We were rollin' into Afghanistan.

I know, but I'd imagine that Saddam knew what was coming. The ultra-high grade of the weaponized anthrax points to Russia scientists selling to Saddam. This wasn't any American nutjob stealing from any American lab.

How...Miss Cleo? He had no way of knowing for sure. We were a little busy at the time with other things.

Oh...for what it's worth, Saddam is plenty megalomaniacal enough to simply ASSume the US, still reeling from 9/11, would NATURALLY go after him right after taking care of the Al Quaeda/Talibunnies, and attempt a preemptive warning strike. If so, he only put another nail in his own coffin, without anyone forcing him to do so. Which is also something he's perfectly capable of.

If this sniper case is a little reminder of Saddam/Hitler's 'power'...it'll backfire. Americans aren't what he thinks, which is why he's so easy to play like a fiddle (I'll miss him when we do get around to killing him....it has been fun...almost a hobby) it'll be a bloodbath, at least here. People WILL go after Muslims in this country wherever we can find them, with bare fists if necessary...it'll be a bloodbath. The citizenry of other Western countries will eventually follow the pattern.

We're all based upon the same culture, after all, and THAT culture has nothing to do with moon gods, meteors OR mad Muhammads.
