I realize you guys are having great fun at the expense of Chief Moose. I agree that you are very clever and witty. There seems to be no end to the things you all can come up with to ridicule him.
Alright already, I got it that you don't like him, you think he is incompetent, and he doesn't speak good English.
I'd prefer someone start a thread (not Breaking News) where everyone can say whatever they want to about Chief Moose, and keep it off of all other threads.
It was more enjoyable when the "Democrats" and "liberals" were the butt of your jokes. In my opinion, it gets old, picking on someone who didn't ask for the responsibility, nor the publicity.

DITTO!!!!! Sheesh, 150 posts of "breaking news humor" is enough!

Okay freeper po-lice man.

I don't get the impression that most here "don't like Moose" or that they think he is incompetent.
The man does have some funny speech patterns reminiscent of "The Lady's Man", and we're all frustrated by these repeated "news conferences" in which nothing is said.

picking on someone who didn't ask for the responsibility, nor the publicity. I agreed with you for the most part until this part. Nobody drafted him to become Chief of Police. He chose it, and therefore did ask for the responsibility and publicity. I'm not so bothered by it when there's no other news to report, as is the case right now before the press conference. It helps defuse tension. Sometimes it crosses the line, of course.

Moose is a Democrat and an ultra liberal. Got his job with the help of Reno and the Clintons.

I agree that we should give Chief Moose a pass. He is chief because of his ability as a police officer, which is what counts here.

I am not sure how the police dept is structured there, but I can bet dollars to donuts that Chief Moose could have a Police Dept spokesperson or higher level agency give the "briefings". Moose moved there to get away from crime; he is incompetent.

Thanks for your post i-dont-chat; I agree. Its most disheartening that some folks are joking about Moose when clearly he is under an enormous amount of stress just trying to do his job. Perhaps the admin moderator can open a thread "lets make fun of moose" for those who want to disparage this man, outside of a thread where others are interested in the facts of whats going on and not the continuous put-downs.

I appears to me that by virtue of the fact that he is in this position (one he wasn't drafted to.), he has positioned himself for this.
Or are you feeling politically correct today?
