I wonder what lies Chuckie Schumer and Diane Feinstein would tell to refute this little statement?
On the other hand we in this country have the same problem ahead of us as the gun control nuts gain more and more power. As we fall more and more into the liberal demorat mantra of letting the government tend to your every need, we start to sound more and more like the Brits. As the article noted the Brits are encouraged to walk by someone in need, to let the authorities deal with the situation. Wether the "authorities" are any where in sight or not.
"God Save the Queen," but most importantly I must say from my observation point on this side of the Atlantic, "God Save the United States from becoming just like the British."

"And, I know the sense of helplessness that people feel. I know the urge to arm yourself because that's what I did. I was trained in firearms. I'd walk to the hospital when my husband was sick. I carried a concealed weapon. I made the determination that if somebody was going to try to take me out, I was going to take them with me."

(Ed. Note- Sen. Feinstein seems to be betraying a bit of elitist inconsistency, since she wants to ban other people's possession of weapons even while obtaining one for herself.)
