Boy, after this press conference, I actually feel sorry for Chief Moose. He's really in a bind as to what he can say. Both because of the sniper and because of the other agencies involved.

I don't understand the people here who believe Moose is actually running the show. From all I've read, he isn't, and it hardly seems at all likely that he would be. He has mostly (for whatever reason) been kept on as the chosen spokesman.

Neither do I. He is obviously just a mouthpiece for the Feds. Everyone knows or should know the Feds are running this investigation. Chief Moose.. lol Gimme a break.

I feel sorry for Moose as well. IMO, this is not about his political affiliations or race. Chief Moose is not the enemy here, the terrorist sniper is the enemy. The Chief looks exhausted and terribly sad.

I've thought for days, "the shooter" has requested Moose...
I do not believe Moose is running the show, but whomever
is needs to come up with a better game plan........

That was the point of the press conference. Let's not think about the impact on the general public: let's feel sorry for the guy in charge, and insure that the media won't turn on him. Clever.

I don't understand the people here who believe Moose is actually running the show.

Of course he's not running the show, but the fact that he's put out there as spokesman/titular leader speaks volumes for the mentality of those who are actually running it.
