This also explains a lot in terms of what and how LE has been reacting. The one thing in Western culture that is completely off limits is children. Children, even to our villians, are sacrosanct. They are sacred. The few animals who have threatened our children are dealt with quickly and harshly.I'm convinced this is ME-based terror, and I'm convinced that they are willing to carry out their threats, not only in the DC Metro, but anywhere across the land.
For that reason, we've gotta move, and the hell with waiting on the UN.
I've got three children of my own right here. I've got three nephews in school in Montgomery County. For all their sakes, it's time to say the hell with political correctness, and deport the entire lot of them.

Time to arm.
This buzzard or buzzards will destroy Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and attempt to subvert the voting process, if not captured. Wake up, United States. This is in the CAPITAL of the republic. It is in the communities where our leaders, Senators, Congressmen, Supreme Court justices, Congressional staffers, White House officials, Pentagon planners, live, pray, dine and sleep.
A), people need weapons for protection and pursuit if necessary and the correlary TRAINING,
and
b) they need to turn out in droves and vote against any anti Second Ammendment politician to slap them in the face and send a message. Just my opinion.

Maybe he released it because the parents have a right to make informed decisions for themselves rather than leaving that to administrators and others?
He read it due to the pressured questions from the press in the first news conference regarding the schools being open in Montgomery County today. They probably had second thoughts about this. What if a child had been shot today and all along they had that note and media was aware of it.
You would no longer have to worry about Moose, it would be bye-bye Moose in one way or another.

In Israel, schools are "tended" by armed parents, grandparents, etc. Their children are/were the targets of attack, and the adults responded to the threat.

It's odd, isn't it, that this is happening around D.C., where so many of "them" live; perhaps they're getting a taste of the things they have sneered at for years. Real life.

You could be right, but I'd like a transcript, if it's available.

Don't be so ethno-centric. Hirsuteness is sexy. Maybe we can come to some mutually-beneficial agreement. You toss me the ones with short hair that you don't want, and I'll send the ones with long underarm hair to you, ok?

Coming to a neighborhood near us.

CBS Radio News saying the note was 3 pages, written in poor English, with an authenticator code to identify the sniper
To: Route66
"He did not make it sound in any way like it was being done on instruction from the shooter. He was reading a post script from a written message

That it is ME based terror, well, I just about don't have any fingers left and voice box left from freeping and chatting it up everywhere.

Judy Woodruff is having a fit.....she's officially "concerned." Judy can "officially" kiss my big, black a$$!
To: bcoffey
HA! I do the same thing. " C'mere, honey, look what Doug did to this room!(ick)"
My kids watch, too when home. I haven't watched in weeks.
To: Lion's Cub
The fewer people on the streets, the more likely the shooter's continued success.

F**k the dumb sh*t. We've gotta take action, now. And screw the UN. Someone please tell GW that we've gotta take action and get this show on the road, now. Well one thing Bush can do right now, whether the Killer is a ME Terrorist or not is to close our borders, halt ALL immigration from the ME and start enforcing our immigration laws. And on that, I have NO CONFIDENCE that this president will take those VERY common sense actions.
To: PBRSTREETGANG
Do you plan on going to Maryland or Virigina tomorrow and standing in the streets?
To: self
Note to self: buy stock in Smith & Wesson and become very rich

"He was reading a post script from a written message."
I know he was reading from the shooter's note, I just meant he did not say he making it public because the shooter had instructed him to do it. Sorry if I was unclear.
To: tomkat
"that message just insures that it will almost assuredly be a slow and painful death"
Yeah, like daily (nightly) multiple injections of AIDS by his new friends in the cell block!
