Very.

"YOu're children are not safe, anywhere, at any time!"WOW. I am now convinced it is terrorism.
To: valleygal
"Please tell me your wife watches that show!"She (Nancy) watches that show -- repeats and all -- all the time. I get called in for the more outrageous designs. :)
To: alisasny
It's sure no joke.
But, the media and the people have been speculating about this specific threat for days. The only thing that Moose's statement does is change the statement from one of speculation, to one expressly made.
To: iceskater
Exactly. We had already heard this, but it's shocking to hear it out loud.

I'm afraid all this emphasis on the just-in-time manufacturing and business concepts hasn't helped our younger generation understand the need to prepare for future emergencies.I think you're right. Remind me again, how is it wasteful or costs money to have a stockpile of mission critical supplies?
To: Dog
This SOB just made this personal... Citizens of metro DC, take up arms.
Thank God they finally told us! This is going to be a nightmare for people who's kids are alone any part of the day....But it FAR better to be forewarned. Now people can take precautions.
To: Howlin
My take from Moose's comments is that the shooter wanted the statement read accurately. Moose said something (need transcript) that leads me to believe it was the shooter who told Moose to let everyone know their children weren't safe.

It's an arrow.
To: TexKat
That he did not say, but Moose was talking about our "nation" at noon today!
To: valleygal
OK, serious now, why are they using the news media to communicate with this guy. What do you think? :)
Definitely.
To: Howlin
It was shocking to hear Mark Edwards say so in so many words. Sigh. He also just said schools back in session tomorrow but no outdoor activities. Lockdown in effect. No football games Friday night. I guess this means my nephew's cross country meet is cancelled as well. Dammit.

Anyone who had derision to gun owners are now on their way to the local gun store. Let's watch and see the peacniks reaction to this. Wonder how quick they change their tune now that the children have been targeted.
To: MTCJK
Don't be so ethno-centric. Hirsuteness is sexy.
To: Dog; All
Did I not say that when there are threats against children, the mentality in this country will change?
I'm sorry, but this is war. They have declared war on our children- the HEART of our country.
To: rintense
me, too.
They better release that MFing sketch they showed the French and the French better tell us Georges' last name.
To: hispanarepublicana
This is starting to get kinda surreal, not 9/11 surreal but it's certainly weird. They are feeding this guys ego by dealing with him in this way. Local talk radio guy said he probably rushes right home after the shootings and turns on the TV.
