Watch MSNBC today... they explain how now police think the Saturday night call was from the real sniper, because the cops missed the call time the sniper requested in the letter.

Does anyone know what happened to the black fellow that mis-reported his eye witness account? The one that said the off-white van had a ladder rack on top, a burnt out tail-light and even gave the first 3 letters/numbers of the plate. Last I heard, he was in prison not too long ago. My thoughts were that he was converted to islam while in prison and was paid or volunteered the false info. Perhaps he thought the sniper is muslim. Just a thought.

Mrs. Ramos was on a bench outside a post office at Leisure World on Georgia Ave. A couple of miles from this morning's site. She was waiting for a friend to give her a ride to work. Was that at a bus stop?

The victim could have been getting on or off the bus, and the impact knocked him inside the bus. Hard to say.

WMAL just reported that LA Times report about the letter left at Ashland being in broken English. Also mentioned schools, apparently.
