Remember Moose's PC statement last week.Yes, and remember that the Clinton's help put him in that job.
To: TexKat
Oh wow, thanks for reminding me about that, it helps.
To: Letitring
Actually, I thought moose never denied..just avoided answering the question directly. Or something! back and forth we go!
To: WRhine
Also, I don't know why there haven't been cameras set up on ALL ROADS in the Region. You're talking a lot of cameras and a lot of real estate. I don't think that is logistically possible given the random nature of the shootings.
To: TexKat
The media coverage is getting more and more sickening as the minutes tick.
Now we have experts saying its OK to lie to capture him using the media....WHY DONT YOU TELL HIM THE PLAN NOW...we know he is watching the tv...
We want him caught but to give him the play by play is beyond anything I have ever witnessed by our media. SHAME.
To: TexKat
This is funny now, but at the time I could have given myself a heart attack.I know just how you felt. Late in the evening of Setpember 11, several of my daughter's friends converged on our house (I guess the just came over, but I was so stressed that day, it felt like a convergement - no such word). Every tv in the house was on including the one in the kitchen where I was. Several teenaged boys were checking out the available groceries when a replay of the second plane hitting the WTC came on. This one young man said "Oh my God, what happened?" He was kidding but at the time I was furious just thinking he didn't have a clue. He saw the "look" on my face and crawfished his way out of my kitchen.

You're welcome. I was quite surprised at the sound quality. It even has a hands free head set.

You will read this when you get back. PLEASE update us on that whacko Science teacher and the Principal's response.
So much for a 'violence - free zone'.........huh?
I am aghast that a teacher would even do that! And what the hell does teen suicide and the machinations of using a gun in the mouth... have to do with Science?

Dual monitors help a lot. It's wonderful to read and refresh at the same time! LOL

No kidding, Kim!
I almost want to write to some columnist to pick this up nationally......lol.

The harsh reality of their intent is hard to come to grips with. The similarities to what is happening in the DC area are striking.

You're talking a lot of cameras and a lot of real estate. I don't think that is logistically possible given the random nature of the shootings. You Bet. Well, anything is better than nothing. Maybe by chance the Killer goes down a road that does have cameras. BTW, I recognize the privacy issue here but as long as our government sees fit to let ANYONE and EVERYONE in this country we better be thinking better surveillance in our cities and towns.
Even if this particular Killer does not turn out to be a ME Terrorist, I am sure AQ and others are watching this with interest.

PArt of the threat may be, if a BOLO is made public, other cells go into action. ?? Maybe?Wow! I hate to even consider you're right, but I'm afraid you may have something there. Excellent speculation.
To: Chemist_Geek
For the police to think that Americans would turn on moslem Americans, shows the deep mistrust and contempt within which the liberal police officials hold the citizenry. Have you read some the stuff that has been posted on FR??? There are folks here that would really enjoy internment of the Muslim American community. And a few who would like to display their prowess with rifles.
Perhaps some distrust is justified.
To: spectre
Oh Dear, believe me, I know that. I guess I just don't understand myself about this, for I am usually very appreciative of Policemen, in general. Something about him just bothers me and I'm trying to figure out exactly what that is, and then deal with it. :) I am not upset, really and glad you aren't either. :)

Even if this particular Killer does not turn out to be a ME Terrorist, I am sure AQ and others are watching this with interest.I'm sure it's an education for them (unfortunately).

"The media coverage is getting more and more sickening as the minutes tick. I toggled over to MSNBC for a second and caught the large man (nach-something) flapping "what-if's" that would give ANY WHACKO who is listening some GOOD (TERRIBLE) idea's...geesh...shut them UP. News and facts are one thing, but speculative brainstorming on global TV news is a poor excuse for journalism. Especially when it gives fresh ideas to murderous enemies.
