ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) - Police have accused a doctor of falsifying drug tests for a 15-year-old and his father in exchange for sex with the teen's 13-year-old girlfriend.

Dr. James Ray Pattillo of Marietta was charged with statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes, said Sgt. Chris Lagerbloom, spokesman for the Alpharetta Police Department.

The victim told police she had sex with Pattillo, 56, on Oct. 2 in the boyfriend's suburban Atlanta home. In exchange for the sex, the doctor - a contractor for the state Division of Family and Children Services - allegedly promised to report clean drug tests for her boyfriend and his father.

The boyfriend also paid the girl about $150, Lagerbloom said. The girl told her mother and they reported it to police.

DFACS was testing the family because of reports of child neglect in the house, said Jed Nitzberg, spokesman for the agency. Pattillo had been working with DFACS since 1991 and had passed a background check.

"We have immediately severed our businesses with this contractor," Nitzberg said.

Alpharetta police tried to arrest Pattillo on Monday, but he was not at home. Calls to his home by The Associated Press were not immediately returned.

The 15-year-old boy has been charged with pimping and pandering and was being held in a youth detention facility.

Similar to primping and preening

That's somewhat akin to farding in public.
You can see women doing it everyday as they drive their cars.
