Dick Morris Predicts Demmycrats Will Win Both Houses
Fox News | October 21, 2002 | PJ-Comix

Posted on 10/21/2002 7:07:05 PM PDT by PJ-Comix

I just saw Dick Morris on Hannity & Colmes predict that as of right now it looks like the Demmycrats will win both Houses of Congress. In a way this sure gives vindication to my nightmare. In another thread I predicted that if Douglas Forrester loses NJ then the Demmycrats will retain control of the Senate. However, if Forrester wins in NJ then the Republicans will pick up 3 seats in the Senate. Don't ask me how I know but I know. This is all part of my NIGHTLY nightmare which involves me SCREAMING at Douglas Forrester to pick up the phone and call Howard Stern to gain his endorsement. In my nightmare, Forrester is always about to make that all-important phone call but then backs out as I wake up screaming (as I do every morning): "DOUG---CALL HOWARD!!!"

You guys may not like Dick Morris and his morals (I don't) but he is clearly the most brilliant political strategists in operation today.

He speaks reality. You may not like Morris, but those of you blasting Morris should be angry with the reality.

You put too much stock in Howard Stern. Stern is a Libertarian anyway, what makes you assume he'd automatically back Doug Forrester?

Simple. Howard tends to favor Republicans if they are pro-choice which Forrester is. Plus Howard STRONGLY backs Bush on Iraq. Look at Pataki, Whitman, Guiliani, and D'Amato and Forrester fits the profile of those he tends to support. As icing on the cake, Howard HATES Lautenberg. I heard him grumbling years ago about the Louse.

I'm angry over the fact that Forrester hasn't picked up the phone and asked Howard for his endorsement (which he is sure to give). It would mean a MINIMUM of an extra 100,000 votes for Forrester plus give his campaign an extra boost at the end.

No way the Pubs will even lose seats in the House. He's full of it.

I think he is wrong about the House but, alas, I fear he may be right about the Senate. Don't ask me how I know (part of the nightmare I mentioned earlier) but somehow I feel in my gut that it all hinges on Forrester. If Forrester wins in NJ then the Republicans will pick up 3 seats but if Forrester loses then the Demmycrats will retain control of the Senate. And the agonizing thing is that Forrester would WIN if ONLY he would pick up the phone and speak to Howard Stern for 10 minutes. This I know for sure and it's KILLING me that Forrester hasn't made that phone call. He could even have fun with it and promise to name a Howard Stern Toxic Waste Site. Not only would this be funny but it would highlight the fact that after years of Demmycrat control, NJ still has a lot of environmental problems.

don't sweat it.

Generally the closer to the Election, Dickie reverts to form, and the Lefty-Rose colored glasses come out.

His line of reasoning that the War debate is over, and the Economy moves to the fore, doesn't matter, with the Dow over 8500. What can the dems say ? Our Guy crashed it, and your guy isn;t picking it up fast enough ?

IIRC, the Dow was barely over 9500, under 10, In Feb 2001.

If you're counting on Forrester, you will be disappointed. We won't need him, though. We just need to beat Tim and Jean and we'll have the 50-50 senate, or better if hutch can hang on.

EVERYBODY - the new tactic is for all the LIBS to report "Indications are that XYZ is leaning toward the DEM candidate... yada yada... will likely retain control of the Senate...yada yada...

Regardless of the Polls. NPR was GUSHING about Rat-leaning states - not a single mention of Pub advantages anywhere. They think this wishfulthinkingreporting will rub off on listeners to get them to the polls because they must all be getting pretty scared and some apathetic.

That's interesting that you had a dream about Hitlery. I, too, had an impacting one that stayed with me long after I woke up (about a year ago). I had a dream that I saw her fall "102 stories" down to her doom (this was pre-Twin Towers collapse). Then, I had a second one not long after that, where I saw her face superimposed on a garbage can. (This is absolutely true.)

As many of my dreams have turned out to be precognitive, warnings, or "heads-ups", I am putting my faith in these dreams that something beyond this power-lusting evil dictator's control will trip up her plans to re-gain control of the White House. We can only hope. And pray.

I can't tell you how bizzar I find dreaming about any political figure. Of course, I have never personally hated any person in, or wanting to be in political office. I do however, very personally hate Bill and Hillary Clinton and I have judged them guilty of treason, perfidity, malfeasance, law breaking, raping, theft and general lack of character. The contempt in which they hold the American People being the worst of their perfidity.

I also hope and pray that they are brought low by their own actions and suffer ultimately from mass shunning all over the world, ranging from leaving a room when they, together or alone, enter to loud boos when they make public speeches.

Perhaps, if enough of us work toward to making these people redundant and scorned in their own lifetime, we will all be saved from their evil plans for this country, Marxism pure and simple.

I totally agree with you about your feelings for the Clintons. I never hated any politician or felt so passionate one way or another, until they came on the scene. I was absolutely shocked at the severity of their crimes, heaped one atop the other, the multitude of them, their complete contempt for the rule of law, their grifting of taxpayer money for personal gain, and their thumbing down at the "little people." And I'm talking about only those crimes committed in his FIRST term. When Clinton and his evil Stalinist wife actually won re-election over Dole -- despite all this -- I actually broke down and cried. Because I knew then that only a country and people as corrupt as Sodom and Gomorrah could excuse them for all they did (with the corrupt media whoring for them at every turn) and then reward them with continued governance. I was even more stunned when people I respected and whom I thought had real values not only continued to like them and vote for them again, but excused all their corruption with the "everybody does it" excuse. No anger, no outrage, no nothing.

Hillary Clinton is the most dangerous and evil politician that this country has ever seen, and my greatest fear is that the stupid soccer moms, the "oppressed minorities", the lazy, the legal immigrants and the illegal aliens -- all those who are greedy for more government handouts (courtesy of us bleeding taxpayers) and the strengthening of the nanny/police state -- are going to usher her in the White House in a landslide. This woman will stop at nothing to enforce her socialist schemes on all us lab rats, and make us dutiful robots of the state.

"Lets"? I'm not confusing anything as there is no confusion. Big D, little d, they both support democracy. (see your infamous dictionary)
the last thing the Democratic party represents is democracy, representative or otherwise.
The Democratic Party is about nothing but democracy. Are you perhaps implying that the Democratic Party represents Socialism?

Democracy is indispensable to socialism. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
Democracy is the road to socialism. Karl Marx
Socialism needs democracy like the human body needs oxygen. Leon Trotsky
The goal of socialism is communism. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
