This is how they get the sniper to be "The White Guy" instead of Arab (But islam is a peaceful religion!) or Hispanic. (this may foil our invasion plans!)

This is the most plausible official clue yet, and it has to come from France....

Thanks for this info.

Is France blaming our foreign policy for the sniper attacks?

Isn't a deserter from the French army a guy who doesn't want to surrender to the enemy?

I don't think this picture is a real French sniper. I see no indication that this rifle has been dropped.

Well, if he's a native of the Balkans and not France, that would explain why he hasn't surrendered.

LOL.

Actually, I searched Google for an image of a Serbian sniper, and that is what I came up with: http://ispec.specwarnet.net/serbia/pics/K1.jpg

There was an article about a lot of Mexicans converting to Islam in the Chiappas area a while back.

"France's RTL radio station identified the officer as a 25-year-old student from the former Yugoslavia."

If they have all this information on him, then why don't they give the most important details of all - his name and his photo, so he could be discovered, tracked, and caught.

The fact that they don't release this information makes me suspect. It reminds me of all the Osama Bin Laden news reports. One week they say he is dead; the next he is reported alive; then there's reports that he's dying of a disease; then his brother says he's alive and well; then he's confirmed dead; then he's confirmed alive; then he's making a new video...

While there are Muslims in Yugoslavia, particularly in Kosovo, the amount of fundamentalist Muslims are quite small... Bosnia was and is a much more fertile place for Islamic fundamentalists.

The story notes that this man is from the "former Yugoslavia" which certainly encompasses Bosnia.
